Whispering Cats

When She first woke up this morning, She tried to say good morning to me, and when She talked, nothing came out. There was something wrong with Her voice and She could only whisper. If She tried to talk louder, it came out in a squeak. I tried not to laugh, but honestly, you have to admit that is funny. The way She explained it was that the air on the boat was very dry, unless you were outside, and She didn't go outside very much. He thinks it is because She met so many new friends that She just talked all day long for all those days, and it used up Her voice for the month. She says She played games and won some prizes. She also got Her toes painted and Her fingers shined up nicely. The nail lady was from Jamaica, and treated Her like She was a movie star or a queen, or a cat. The place was called a spa, and the main spa lady was from South Africa. It made Her happy to hear her talk, because it sounded like Her beloved friends, and She felt cozy. Then another girl from Jamaica put wax on Her chin and eyebrows, and when it got cool, the girl pulled it off, and there went Her extra hair. When She left that spa, She felt very very special. He and She said everything on that boat was to make the sailing people feel special..
Kasey and I have been whispering today, to make Her feel OK about not being able to talk. She is repaying us by fixing fish for our dinner. It has been a long time since She has fixed dinner. Three whole weeks. Back to routines, I hope. Toodle Pip.
