Puzzled Cats

Dear readers, you will just have to get used to this, just like I have. Some days they let me on here to write, and some days they hide from me. I bet our Computer Guy would know how to fix it, but we haven't heard from him for a long time. Well, enough about that. Here's what is going on here. It has stopped being warm and started to be cold and rainy. He had to turn the heat on again, but She says we are luckier than our northern neighbors, because they have sleet, which is frozen rain. It turns everything to ice, and She wouldn't be able to walk at all. It is very cold and gray outside, and when we look out, there aren't any cats and not many birds having snacks. Mrs. Squirrel came out, but she has a fur coat. And still, she hurried. It is finally cold enough for Her to fix chili for our dinner. She puts beans in our chili, and LW'sMom says that shouldn't happen. Chili should only be meat and sauce. She can't help it, though. She learned to make Yankee chili when She lived very far away. He doesn't care, as long as He can put onions in it. You know She has all Her Christmas shopping done. Now She is putting things in boxes to send. When She finally seals up the boxes, She can't be tempted to put in one more thing. If you could see Her looking at catalogs, you would think She will have all Her shopping for next year done, too. She has to throw away the dozen catalogs She gets every day, and that makes Her sad, because it is such a waste. Every time She cancels one, She gets a bunch more. Well, I shall go and supervise the preparation of the chili. It just has to be un-frozen and made nice and warm to eat. They have plenty to watch on TV so it will be a nice, cozy evening. Chow, bellas.

Emergency Cats

Oh, my readers must be frantic. I haven't been able to write my stories for several days, because this story place wouldn't let me. I don't know what happened, and decided my story days must be over. After all, I have written a gazillion stories. Maybe the story place thought I didn't have any more to say. She helped me figure it out, so I can report. Well, I can tell you that things are just fine here. He and She have been getting some things done. She thought Her shopping was done for this year, but She realized She had two more things to buy. I helped Her look through catalogs until She decided on just the right things. She ordered a present for Her beloved brother. It was supposed to be for Christmas, but She found out they sent it now. I had to laugh about that. She thinks She has everything under control. I told Her to wait, but She didn't listen. Please listen to your cats, my dears. My little sister Kasey has been curling up in a tray next to His chair. I went to check it out when Kasey went to bed, and I tried to sleep in the tray, but I don't fit, exactly. I slept with my head and neck in the tray while the rest of me spilled onto the table. I believe I will leave that particular spot to Kasey. She sent away for some food with a paper She got from the computer, and they sent it already. She says we shall have omelets with roasted veggies tonight. I'll have to check that out. I don't think I'll like it. Well, bye for now.

Computer Cats

You already know a lot about computers, but what you may not know is that the more you believe something will be easy, the more the computer can trick you. I have had to help Her a few times in the last few days. To begin with, She bought some papers to save money at a restaurant. It is one where you order the food and they send it. She carefully checked the menu and took my advice about what to get. When She tried to pay for it, they wouldn't give Her the money off that She deserved. Well, it was Sunday, so maybe they didn't take orders on Sunday. When She tried today, the same thing happened. She was getting a bit salty about this and called them on the phone. A sweet girl took the order and the information and all was done right, tickety boo. Then we went to a place on the computer to send flowers for Mazie'sMom who is getting an operation on her knees. She and I carefully checked all the plants. She wanted to send plants because M'sM is a gardener and she could plant her flowers outside when she gets well. We selected some roses and put in all the info, and they wouldn't take the order because She had put it in as a guest. She didn't remember Her password, you see, and She didn't want to take the time for them to look it up. She told me She was starting to see why He yells at the computer. A little lunch. some coffee and a nice cookie (or two) and She came to try again. This time, everything worked just fine. Both orders were fixed, She even got a discount. That made a happy ending, for sure. You can look at my page and see that I figured out how to get my Saturday story posted, so now all our computer problems are solved. You may not believe me, but that is quite a day's work for a cat. I am going to have a nap while She comes back to chat with Her friends. The package that is thawing says meat loaf. We have had that before, and we like it. Toodles, everybody.

Know About Me Cats

There is a thing on Her computer place that says tell 10 things no one knows about you. She says everybody knows everything about Her, so She doesn't want to do it. Even Kasey and I know where she was born, what she likes and what She has done. Of course, not everyone knows about her adorable cats. I wonder if I can think of 10 things about Kasey and me. One thing is that I wrote a story yesterday but it doesn't show on the story page. I think a lot of people know that we don't have claws in our front paws, but they probably don't know that we can scratch a great long line with our back claws. Another thing is that I thought I had a forever family, but they gave me to the esspeeceeay because they said they didn't have time for me. I don't know what that means. He and She have all the time in the world to take care of Kasey and me, and we help them with a lot of things. You all know that I love snuggles, but you may not know that I am afraid of strangers and spend a lot of time hiding. During the day, I hide in the closet or on a chair under the table where no one can see me. At night, you will likely find me asleep above Her head, or on Her tummy. Did you know I help Her read the paper in the morning? I poke it and bite it and jump on it, so there isn't much bad news left when She reads it. If Her fingers are under the paper, I jump on them. She laughs at that. I like to make Her laugh. It is about my best thing to do, except for eating kibbles and licking Her plate. Did you know I like pizza? It is Her favorite thing. as well. She likes ice cream, but I don't like anything sweet. Kasey is very different from me. She hardly purrs at all. I am a purr-factory, She says. I guess that is all you have to know about me. I have to go check out what She is fixing for dinner My favorites are fish, pizza or chicken. Tonight it is chicken. Have a nice evening and enjoy the warm weather. It was cold, but it got so warm we had to turn on the fans. I'll try to find out why my story from yesterday didn't show up. Talk to you tomorrow.

Hot Cats

One day awhile ago, I told you about how cold it was.We were so cold that He finally had to turn on the heat. Well, today it is so very warm that He had to turn off the heat and turn on the cool air. The weather guy says that it will be warm for a few days, and then it will cool down to the 70s. I don't know about you, but Kasey and I think that is perfect. She had planned to fix a kind of food called chili for our dinner, but now She says it is too hot, and She will save the chili for when it gets cold again. He and She have lived here a lot longer than Kasey and I have, but She is surprised at the hot weather. She doesn't think it is funny. She says it worries Her that it gets so warm on these days that should be cool. She says that there are things going into the air that are erasing the layer that keeps the sun from shining too much on regular people. She belongs to groups that want to fix this problem, but there are a lot of people that think it isn't a real problem at all. It's another thing that makes her get grumpy about the news. She says we will have a picnic for our dinner, because that is what people do when it is too warm to fix chili. It is OK with me. For an old person, She makes some decent dinners. It almost got too hot in my sunspot today, but my fur soaks up a lot of hotness. Have a nice evening. I'll TTYL.

Ho Hum Cats

Not much new for Kasey and me today. He and She were both home all day and They did not need any help from us. We thought there would be a big de-cluttering going on, but actually, She was rearranging piles of her papers, notes and letters on Her desk. You would think it would be nice and cleared up by now. Actually, there is hardly room for an adorable cat (ahem) to lie down. It is a puzzle to me how She can be surrounded by piles of papers, when She used to make sweet, innocent children keep their spaces nice and clean. She says if She were Her own teacher, She would make Herself stay after school to clean everything up. She will try again tomorrow, because tonight She will be busy fixing fish and vegetables, watching Their Friday shows and having dessert. She wants dessert every single day, you know. It is lucky Kasey and I don't like sweet things, or She would find it hard to share with us. Speaking of my little sister, Kasey, He is getting out of patience with her because she always pees on His side of the bed. None of us can figure out why. He puts a cardboard cover down to discourage Kasey, but she manages to find enough space to make a little piddle. He had Kasey's insides checked, and they are OK, and He sprayed some keep off stuff on it. Nothing works. If any of you readers knows an answer, just email Her, or leave a message for me. I smell fish cooking. I had better go check that out. Have a nice evening.

Patient Cats

There are days when He and She have places to go, and we have to be patient, and wait for them to come home. Since His car has been broken, They are not usually gone at the same time. For example, today She had Her usual adventure with Rocky'sMom. She had a money-saving ticket for a nice place to eat where the ladies have gone before, but a money-saving ticket is a good reason to go back. Besides, the place has food that they like to eat, and She knew She would bring something home for Him to eat, as well. It was a wonderful adventure, but it is the last one before Rocky'sFamily goes away for the holidays. She will remind me what that means in a little while, She says. So after She got home a guy brought a big package to the door, and it was from Mazie. He and She opened it up, and it was completely full of those little cups that They use to make coffee-the-drink in the little machine. They will be wide awake for a long time. The next thing was a phone call to say His car was all fixed, so He and She went to the fixing place and He brought it home. It is all shiny and nice. So now we can settle down. We can get some snuggles and pets, and taste the food from the eating place, which has lots of red sauce. We can watch TV and rest up for cleaning up more clutter tomorrow. I will bet you seven kibbles that She stops to drink coffee about ten times tomorrow, since They got all those new little cups. So hasta manana, amigos.

Old Friend Cats

This has been a day full of His and Her good friends. He was talking on the phone with His friends, and She was having a meeting with Hers. She likes to be with Her Crone friends, because they know so much about each others' lives that they don't really have to explain very much at all. They can launch right into a story about their families and their adorable (ahem) cats. She said they don't call themselves Crones anymore, because there are young members now, so they just call themselves Friends. Crones have to be at least Grandma-level women, but Friends can be any age at all. They have even had men come to Friends' meetings. Who knows, they might just have cats join them one day. Most of the Friends have cats, so the ladies enjoy cat stories. Cleo'sMom had Cleo, who was not a cat, but Cleo'sDad is allergic to cats. That means cats make him sneeze and feel sniffley. But Cleo'sMom is used to hearing about the cats. She has even given presents to Kasey and me. One thing She forgot to tell Her Friends is that His car isn't fixed yet, after it has been at the fixing place for a whole bunch of days. Remember that they left out a part from the order and had to have the car part company send it. Then when it came, it was the wrong part. She is sick and tired of that place, but He thinks they are doing their best. I told Her that He should send an empty envelope when He goes to pay, then He should send a payment that is wrong, and let them wait a long time for the right payment. She thinks that would be funny, but He says it would be mean, and He won't do it. Lucky for me, She didn't tell Him it was my idea. It was very cold this morning, but it is much better now. It makes for some excellent snuggles. It is not going to stay very cold for long, at least that is what the weather guy says. Here is what always happens at a Friends' lunch. She gets so full that She doesn't want to think about dinner. I hope she gets hungry pretty soon. So does He. Well, TaTa for now, readers.

Glamour Cats

One of the places where She used to teach was a place for children who were very special because of their problems with learning. Some were more special than others, because they needed a lot of care and understanding. People at that school got a place where these special people could stay, and learn to do jobs get the right kinds of attention. This place has a store and a nice place to eat, and a plant place. The place is very pretty, and visitors go there for lunch or for meetings and to shop. Well, Hana'sGran went there for a meeting, and brought some nice things back for Her. The stuff is very smoothe, and smells like oranges. She has already smeared some of it on Her face and it made her smile. She doesn't look any different, but She does smell nice. She told Him that She feels like a movie star. So we are having a nice day today. It is a good thing, too, because it has gotten quite cold outside. We are lucky that we don't have to go out. She says this is a good time to have soup to eat, and I like that idea, because it is easy to share if you happen to be a cat. I had a taste yesterday, and would like to have some more tonight. Kasey doesn't eat soup, but when it is a little bit cool, Kasey likes to stay on His lap, which He really likes. Sell, I had better check out what She is taking out of the freezer. Stay glamourous, everybody. Later, gator.

Envious Cats

If you could have heard Her today, you would wish you had been with Her, too. You see, Her beloved Hana'sGran invited Her over to see some changes that were made to her house. Naturally, She was chuffed and excited to go. There was a nice scene when She got inside there. H'sG's porch had been made into a special eating area, with lovely rugs. paintings and peaceful scenery outside. While She sat and admired it, H'sG fixed a special lunch with everything She likes. Here's a thing that show's H'sG knows Her so well - she sent home a whole dinner for Him, out of the same stuff. I saw it myself. It looks so delicious that I may behave myself so I can get a little share. What a lucky thing for Her that She got to teach in a school with Hana'sGran. It was the same place where She met Rocky'sMom. Those ladies are really good friends. Besides a perfect lunch day, this was a special day to thank all the soldiers and other people who are fighting for our country, or the ones who ever have. As much as She grumbles about politics and the war stuff, She appreciates the people who help keep us safe. Back when He was a boy, every boy had to go into the service of our country. He went into the Marines. Hana'sUncle was in the Marines, too. That is a special kind of soldier. Now, after all the war and fighting, She just wants the government to clean up. I have to go lie in my sun spot now, so I will give it some more thought and talk about it later. Semper Fi.

Pawn Star Cats

One of His favorite things to watch on TV is a show called Pawn Stars. There are some guys that have a store where people bring things for them to sell. It is a Grandpa, a father and a son, and the son's best friend. In Her opinion, the guys are goofy and rude, and are very unpleasant to each other. He likes to see what people bring in and how much money they get for it. Sometimes He learns about the history of the thing. Since She likes to watch with Him sometimes, She just keeps track of the mistakes they make when they talk, and the times they call each other dumb or stupid. Those are words She doesn't approve of. He doesn't care that She thinks the guys are nasty, in fact He sometimes agrees with Her. The best thing about the show is that when both of Them are watching, Kasey gets on His lap and I get on Her lap and all four of us watch TV together. I will admit, it often puts me to sleep. There are all kinds of things on TV where you can learn things, so She is not sure why He likes this show so much, but it is nice cozy together time, so it's OK. I was ready for a quiet little nap today, especially after what happened this morning. When He went out to get the paper and feed the kitties, the neighbor's dogs came running up and barked so loud it woke Her up. They wouldn't let Him go outside, so He had to call the neighbor to get the dogs back in the house. Dogs are not supposed to run loose where we live, and those big dogs were scary. I know they scared away the two outside cats. She does not like dogs that aren't friendly. I don't much like them at all, except for a few of our cousins. Well, I am thinking some really good dinner would be pizza. I hope that is what She is thinking, too. Chow, bellas.

Grumbling Cats

Kasey and I are not grumpy cats. We are adorable, smiling cats - although Kasey does tend to be grumpy if you try to keep her from what she wants to do. No, we are grumbling about some troubles. His troubles relate to machine troubles. Yesterday His printer stopped working, which made him angry and He yelled at the fixing person on the phone. It was finally fixed, and He paid them some money. Today, exactly the same thing happened. If you know Him at all, you can just guess how He felt about that. They fixed it for him again, and He didn't yell, so the people were more helpful. Her grumbles came from a different source.. The electricity company. Here's what happened. A bunch of weeks ago, a guy came to our door to sell Them a different electricity company. He told the guy He couldn't talk right then, because we were eating our dinner. The guy went away, and we forgot about it until our regular electricity company called us and said they had been informed that we changed from them to the guy's company. It was silly. We never signed anything, we didn't change. We didn't want to change. We like our house the way it is. They said they would take care of it, but it might take some time. She waited a lot of weeks, and didn't get a bill. She knew we used lots of electricity. Well, today the bill finally came, and it was for two months. She said it was fair, but came as a surprise, and since our house is all electric, it was a very big amount of money. Of course She paid it on the computer, but She grumbled anyway. The only thing that cheered Her up was talking to Cleo'sMom on the phone. That was nice to hear, except the talk was about Them going away for a big dinner in a few weeks. I like them to stay home. As long as They come back, though, it will be fine. They have plenty to see on TV tonight, so tomorrow will be better. Poodle Tip (Get it?)

Medical Cats

Since She gave me some butter before She went to see Her doc, I felt very lucky, because She wasn't allowed to have anything to eat or drink. She put the butter on a plastic lid, and put it into the microwave, just long enough to make it finger-friendly. It does taste better when it comes off a toast or a bagel, but it was delicious to me. He did Her a favor and didn't make the coffee before She left, so She would not have to sniffle it. She got to the doc on time, and She says all Her numbers were good. She told Her doc about taking the new pills, but She didn't say She stopped taking the others. She doesn't want Her sweet doc to worry. She also reminded the doc that She doesn't want a big examination. I am not interested in having Her die, but if She gets sick, She doesn't want a bunch of pills and things hooked up to Her. I don't think I would like that, either, but Kasey says she wants to live forever, and if it takes pills and machines, so be it. That's Kasey for you. Here is what She told me. Everybody is going to die, Cofs. We must be careful with little kids and regular people, but old people need to face facts. She says She knows there are people who would feel sad if She didn't send them messages and stuff, but She wants to be in memories. She is just itching to give out the presents She has ready for Christmas, but we have to wait. She really loves Her doc, and always brings something for her little boy. Today She brought honey sticks, which is fine with me. She says honey is good for you, but Kasey and I don't like it. We do like fish, which is thawing out in the kitchen right now. Nomnomnom. Toodle Pip, everyone.

Breakfast Cats

Here is what Kasey eats for breakfast. Four Temptations treats and kibble, along with a big drink of water. Here's what I eat. Lots of kibbles, a big drink of water, and several fingers of butter. Here's what She eats. Toast with black berries in it, my left-over butter, and lots and lots of coffee. Later it is time for lunch, but She and Rocky'sMom decided to have breakfast again, this time for their lunch. They had lots of eggs and cheese and meats and flat pancakes. They thought they were pretty clever. She even got a breakfast for Him to eat for His dinner. I guess those two ladies enjoyed having a joke today, because they laughed and laughed about having breakfast for lunch and dinner. I believe She is very glad She doesn't eat kibbles. On the other hand, Kasey and I love our kibbles. So did our little sister Kate. So do the two cats He feeds outside on our porch. I don't pay much attention to what She has for lunch, but I love when She has fish or chicken for Her dinner, or something with red sauce on it, because I get to share that. There is some sad news for Her and for me tomorrow morning. She has to go visit the doc, and She can't eat any food or drink any coffee. She won't fix butter for me until She gets home, probably. I will try to be brave and manage not to make Her feel sad about it. I am practicing my brave face now, before I go to lie down in my sun-spot. Oddy-ose, amigos.

Forgetful Cats

Kasey and I are getting older, and we are a bit forgetful sometimes. It is something She understands and knows a little about. Her memory used to be so good that She could remember Her new students' names in just one day. She used to know Her part in plays after reading through it one time, or copying it one time. Words to all the songs? She knew them. Then, She started to get older. She kept it together until She retired from Her teaching job. Then, just like Kasey and me, She would forget names. She would forget words. I notice She talks more slowly now, to be sure She is saying the right word. There is a terrible disease that people get where they just forget stuff. She doesn't have that disease, because She worries about having it. The doc says that if you worry about having it, you don't have it. That is a relief to us, and to Him and Her. But why do you forget stuff when you get older? One reason is that you don't have so many conversations, so your brain gets dusty. She dusts off Her brain by doing puzzles and word games. She talks to me a lot, but not much to Kasey. He and She get into some good discussions, and Her brain feels better afterward. She has heard of pills you can take to help your brain, and She will find out more. Kasey and I have to remember a lot. We need to remember where we aren't allowed to go, and to be sure to use the litter-box and things like that. Sometimes She says she has forgotten more than we will ever know. It doesn't hurt my feelings, because She is quite chipper when She says it. Perhaps I will go and lie in the sun and think about that. Don't worry. I won't forget to come back tomorrow with another story.

Thrifty Cats

Cats are very lucky, because we don't need money. We don't even have pockets, or a credit card. We just have to help Our people, and everything we need just shows up. We don't have to go and buy litter. We just have to act like we are going to pee somewhere else, and there is new litter right away. We don't have to buy kibbles, because if we keep on rubbing and fussing on Them, fresh kibbles appear in our bowls. We don't have to pay for rent, or water, or lights. I don''t pay to use this computer, but She says somebody has to. I believe it is Him. It is He and She who have to have more fancy things. Since They don't have lovely, soft fur coats, He and She have to buy clothes. She will not buy more clothes, because She says She has enough for the rest of Her life. She even has clothes She has never worn, and keeps meaning to take them to sell at a nice store. She seems to feel like it is important to have things that go in Her gift closet. She is the happiest when She has given something to somebody. Now, you know She is very particular about money. Right now, She is saving up to pay tax and stuff for our house for the year. But there is a whole separate other place where She keeps money, and that is set aside for lunches and visits with Her beloveds. She did not have to bother Her buying stuff money to be sure She could always have those special lunches. It is interesting to see that He has learned to be more careful with money, as well. She thinks He has learned a big lesson by running out of money like He did. One day He will sell His stuff from His projects, and He will have plenty of money again. Kasey and I aren't worried. We don't need any money, remember? I saw Her take some chicken out of the freezer. I liked the meat loaf yesterday, and I know I will like the chicken tonight. I am just fine not having the berries that He fixes for dessert. Kasey and I just have treats for our dessert. Bun nweet, amis.

Edu-Cats

If there is one thing She will always tell you, it is how much She loved teaching children. It makes Her smile, whatever She is doing, to talk about how She somehow knew what to do to make children learn things. I laugh until my sides ache when She says it starts with order. No, not orders, order. If you could see what I see here at Her desk, you would believe She wouldn't know order if it sat on Her shoulders. But in school She started with order. She did not speak loudly, like He does. As quickly as He gets frustrated and starts to yell, He wouldn't have lasted two days as a teacher. If She got loud, it was from enthusiasm, and Her students knew that. Another trick was to seldom say no to students. If they asked to do something, She was likely to say, sure, as soon as..........and then name some time, like when the bell rang, or when the work was done. It was not Her style to tell a student he was wrong. She might say, that's one way of thinking, or, that might not work because (whatever) She didn't like Her children to be sad, unless it was from a story, and She could say why does that make you sad? She would give rewards. Sometimes people would tell Her She was wrong to do that, but She knew that some people need to know why they had to do something they didn't want to do. If you are in your seat when the bell rings, you get a candy. If not, you don't. It got some children in their seats faster, and all it cost Her was a bit of candy. Sometimes She would do arithmetic with a bunch of ads. She would tell them to buy so many of a certain thing and tell Her the price. She didn't like giving a lot of homework, especially when Her students had hard lives at home. Some parents wanted more, so She would give them some ideas of how to help their children at home. I like talking with Her about teaching, because it always makes Her smile. It makes me smile to know there is something named meat loaf for our dinner tonight. I will like that. Talk to you later.

Early Cats

Yesterday, before He and She went to bed, They turned the clocks back, the way They were supposed to. Some of their things are on automatic time, like the computers and the TV and His alarm clock. They changed the rest, and I thought that is all there was to it. Little did I know - or remember - that when I went to wake Her up at the regular time, I was an hour early. She told me to come back later, but I was ready to go, and I needed Her to get busy with that butter. When He woke up, He found out His alam-clock-radio had not changed. He had to make one of His daily calls to get things straightened out. It turns out that it had somehow been set to the wrong date, so its little electrons didn't know it was the day to change it. He was the first guy to get a computer, many years ago, and He had a job where He drew pictures using a computer, and then He tried to do a project where He made stories on the computer, but She has to laugh at Him and how He gets all fussy when He has a problem with the machines. But She only knows how to use the stuff She uses every day. She doesn't have a radio to wake Her up, She has an adorable cat (ahem). They don't have one of those magic phones, either. The kind that does all kinds of work, and takes pictures. She thinks She is as up-to-date as She needs to be, and He is already baffled enough. So all the clocks are right, and She will have to wake up earlier, so I guess things are OK for today. Bye, now.

Almost Visited Cats

It happens that our darling LW had a party to attend today, and her Mom said LW'sNextSister could come and visit us today, while LW was at the party. She had to say no, thank you. We haven't seen LW'sNextSister since probably last Christmas time. Since then, She has slowed down even more, and has given most of the toys and games away, and let the house get quite full of things that They put away a bit at a time. He hasn't had time to run the noise-machine that cleans the rug, or most of the other chores He does. So it turned out She and our house were each a mess. She did not see how it would be fun for Her beloved little friend to come visit. There weren't treats that children would like, because They don't have children for company any more. Her much beloved little visitor would have been in a pretty tiresome place. One thing She has wished for is that LW'sFamily would send emails to tell what they are doing, and maybe call on the phone when there is a performance or a prize that got won. It was easier for Her to just move along with Her cats and Her Facebook friends to entertain her. She gets notes and emails from Mazie, and Mazie's Dad and sister and brother come to see Her, along with Auntie Heather. Now, of course She feels sad again, but She will be fine by dinner time. She is fixing left-over pot roast with new vegetables. We all love that. I need to go and get on Her lap and give Her some snuggles, and maybe a massage, and by the time They have to change the clocks She will be fine. Tomorrow we can talk about clocks and changing time. TaTa for now.

New Day Cats

This is not a humans' special day, it is a new month day. We like the first day of each month around here. Today it is sunny and nice, after all the rainy days we have had. Halloween is over, and there is a lot of candy left over, just as I knew there would be. He and She will have to work that out, because Kasey and I don't like candy. He isn't supposed to eat it, so I guess that leaves it up to Her. He was supposed to go to a meeting today, but He didn't feel very good, so He just stayed home. It felt nice to Her to have Him here, especially since He felt better after a nice snooze. He would have had to get up early and drive all the way far from here, where Mazie used to live. And He would have had to go in Her car, because His is at the fixing place. We had our Butter, and when She came in here to Her computer, I came with Her and had a nice snuggle on Her arm while She was trying to use Her keyboard. She didn't complain, and She didn't dump me on the floor, so it was fine with both of us. It made me purr so loudly that He could hear me, and that made Him chuckle. We were all happy, including Kasey, who was asleep on His papers on His desk. The new month has a few things that need our attention. First, there is our remembering to change the clocks tomorrow night when we go to bed . We need to change them back one hour. Humans do the funniest things. Then there is some voting, and that is just the first week. This month is full of stuff, but I will tell you about the other special days later. I already know She is fixing fish for our dinner, so my nap in the sun spot will be getting ready for that. Have a nice new month. Osta la veesta.
