Thrifty Cats

Cats are very lucky, because we don't need money. We don't even have pockets, or a credit card. We just have to help Our people, and everything we need just shows up. We don't have to go and buy litter. We just have to act like we are going to pee somewhere else, and there is new litter right away. We don't have to buy kibbles, because if we keep on rubbing and fussing on Them, fresh kibbles appear in our bowls. We don't have to pay for rent, or water, or lights. I don''t pay to use this computer, but She says somebody has to. I believe it is Him. It is He and She who have to have more fancy things. Since They don't have lovely, soft fur coats, He and She have to buy clothes. She will not buy more clothes, because She says She has enough for the rest of Her life. She even has clothes She has never worn, and keeps meaning to take them to sell at a nice store. She seems to feel like it is important to have things that go in Her gift closet. She is the happiest when She has given something to somebody. Now, you know She is very particular about money. Right now, She is saving up to pay tax and stuff for our house for the year. But there is a whole separate other place where She keeps money, and that is set aside for lunches and visits with Her beloveds. She did not have to bother Her buying stuff money to be sure She could always have those special lunches. It is interesting to see that He has learned to be more careful with money, as well. She thinks He has learned a big lesson by running out of money like He did. One day He will sell His stuff from His projects, and He will have plenty of money again. Kasey and I aren't worried. We don't need any money, remember? I saw Her take some chicken out of the freezer. I liked the meat loaf yesterday, and I know I will like the chicken tonight. I am just fine not having the berries that He fixes for dessert. Kasey and I just have treats for our dessert. Bun nweet, amis.
