Of course, She is still happy about seeing Her friends yesterday, but we had to get down to business. We didn't have time to sit and talk about how much fun She had, or who said what. We had to get right at that to-do list. After the bagel and butter, and after She checked Her messages, She started making a grocery list. It's grocery shopping time this week. Before She goes shopping, She has to cut a bunch of things out of the paper. Luckily for Her, I keep the scraps of paper out of Her way. She writes the list on an envelope, and puts the little pieces of paper (The ones that I didn't carefully move to the floor) in the envelope. I think they make Her remember what She needs to buy.
Then She had to go in the car to put a check into the bank. I heard Her say that She had paid too much on a bill. What kind of doofus does that, I wondered, but I didn't say anything, and She took the check to the bank.
One thing that made Her smile is that She looked at a bunch of pictures of Her beloved Eddie. They were pictures from the shows that Her OperaGirl saw, and She showed them to Him. He said Eddie should see them. She says he would be chuffed.
Well, I am knackered after the busy day we had, but I think I'll have a snack before I go for a nap. Toodle Pip.
