Cats and Children

I guess that when you are old as She is, you see everyone as your children and grandchildren. She says She would like to smooth everything for the next people coming along. We had a long talk about that today. Of course, Kasey and I are her fur-children, and She sees us every day. I had to tell Her that making everything smooth for everyone is not a good idea. First of all, I have learned a lot from my troubles. I learned that you may think your life is going fine, then you end up at the esspeeceeay, scared and lonesome, but then someone comes to get you, and you are just fine. Even better than before. Kasey and I like it here better than our old homes, so we learned to enjoy what we have, for as long as it lasts. So She said She wishes Her children and grandchildren didn't worry about money. but worrying about money is what makes you smart about what is worth having. You are right, Coffs, She said to me. The important thing is now. I told Her her children and grandchildren just need to know they are very dearly loved, just like Her fur-children. It makes up for a lot of life's hairballs! She says Her beloved Grandma used to say Enough is as good as a feast. Maybe She should just tell Her children and grandchildren that. I'll suggest it to Her. This story has been so serious that it made me thirsty. Time for a trip to the water bowl. Chow.
