What we had to help Her with today was research. You see, She has this yearning to go to the place where Her OperaGirl lives. If She went there, She could see Her OperaGirl, but also Her other two girls who live in that far-away place. Of course, if She went all the way to that place, and if Her beloved Eddie were going to be in a show there.....well, I guess you get my hint. She would see Her delightful friends, and see Her Eddie in a show. She says it would be a win-win-win-win. And She might even see Smudge'sBoy. He lives there, too.The sad part is, the tickets to go to that place cost a lot of money. So do the tickets to the show, I think. I don't like to say it's a lose-lose-lose-lose, but it is not likely to happen. He and She have enough money to be happy, and even a little extra to go to see Eddie with Smudge'sMom, but, well, you can't have everything, and at least He and She are healthy for a couple of old people.
Another person who is saving money for something is Her beloved Lilyanne. Today is Lily's birthday, and so He and She got Lily a bank. It counts out the money she will save, and soon she will have enough for the thing she wants. That's the way to do it, She says. It will make what she gets more special to her that way. We are very lucky, Coffs, She says to me. We don't have everythinng, but we have enough. Enough is as good as a feast - that's what Her Grandma said, and it's true. And OperaGirl will tell Her all about the show, because she will watch it for Her. That makes Her right chuffed.
I have to check out a noise I hear. It might be the TV, or it might be a dangerous cat. I'll let you know. TaTa.

Coffs, tell Her that my mom, OG, has a special discount offer for Eddie's show, so the tickets aren't quite so pricey! My mom gets them all the time, it's one of her tricks to live in NYC and enjoy it. - Lion
