In-a-Rut Cats

When you keep doing the same thing every day, She tells me that means you are in a rut. Kasey and I like our routines, but we don't want to be in a rut. It helps if They do some different things, because then we have to add parts to our routine, like watching for them and wondering when they will be back. We also like to chase each other and stalk things, just to break up the routine. Today, for example, I curled up in the other half-a-circle chair. She had to laugh when I did that. You must have felt like you were getting in a rut, Coffs, She said. You know, She has no business making fun of my routines. She has some pretty big routines Herself. Ask me what She likes to drink every day. Ask me what She eats for breakfast, and what She does while She is eating Her breakfast. If there were no coffee-the-drink, I think She would just go back to bed. If She runs out of cinnamon-raisin toast, She would be very grumpy. If there were no paper to read, She would be at a loss. If you ask me, She is in a bigger rut than Kasey and I are in.
She says that will change soon, because She and He will be very busy next week. To be fair, She likes different things for Her dinner. There is some hope for Her. Just so She doesn't want to sit in the chair where I am taking my nap. She says She is eating meatballs tonight. Not my favorite, but better than salad. Later, Gator.
