Snoozing Cats

There was a ot of activity around our house today, but it wasn't Kasey and me. Both of us were knackered from playing with that green mouse-on-a-stick. We must have run and jumped until the spooky show was over - That's the last one before They go to bed. It was all I could do to wake Her up this morning. After I had my butter, I went back to sleep, while They kept pretty busy. There were phone calls to make, conversations to have, and things to be ordered on the computer. He and She are both worried about the fire warnings, but there is really nothing They can do. She tells me Don't worry, Coffs every day, and then She goes and worries about something She can't do anything about. Kasey and I both laugh at Her.
Those catalogs are getting a real workout these days. With all the birthdays coming up around here, She goes into Her buying presents mode. She kinows She wants to cut way down, because They have to save Their money, but when She sees a (blank) that would be perfect for LW or her sibs, what is She supposed to do? And Mazie? And Her OperaGirl, or Smudge'sMom? He said, what if they don't like these things? They wouldn't know how to tell you. She said then they can throw them away. I'm am doing it for MY fun, as well as theirs. He just shakes His head. That's OK, because I saw Her buying Him something,too. All I want is kibbles, butter, and a nice place to snooze.
