We all got up early this morning. The coffee was extra good, She said, and the news in the paper was bad. Or so She said. Something about oil again, and She said the President was right to shut them down. But this time no one was dead, and the whole thing did not collapse. It was that kind of atmosphere when He left to visit His mother. She has been having the same problems since She knew His mother. That lady thinks of her own problems all the time, and He comes home sad and tired out. What She thinks is that He doesn't know how to talk to her. How sad it must be to try to talk to a person whose thinking is all gone. Kasey and I won't know how to take care of Them when They get so old that Their thinking stops. Well, I'm not going to think about that any more, because both of them are thinking just fine. I guess that as long as They keep laughing and having fun, They will be taking care of US.
One thing She keeps talking about is barbeque ribs. She has had those before, long ago when He ate meat. She had some when She went to Her OperaGirl's house, but that was far away, and I didn't see them. I know they have bones in them, and I can lick the meat off them, because my tongue is very scratchy. What a thing to want. Ribs must be very popular because of the holiday that happens in a few more days. I hope She gets some soon, because I don't want to hear about them for a lot of days. I will share them with Her when She gets them, though. I'll keep you posted. Cheers.
