No matter what else happened today, the best thing of all was lunch. It is the day when She goes off to have lunch with Her beloved Crones, and it puts a special glow on the day. I would be impressed with the huge bunch of food, myself. They have every kind of food a cat could want there, and lots of nice things for humans. Her favorite part is the friends, though. Even though They all missed Cleo'sMom, who couldn't be there, the group was nice and friendly and full of good conversation.They can have long conversations about all kinds of things. She comes home all full of energy.
Another good thing was the thank you note from Mazie. Mazie told Them how much she liked her box of presents, and put in a lovely drawing. It sure makes you want to give kids presents when they tell you they liked them. You know She has this thing about presents. She collects them when She sees something that is perfect for them. There is sometimes a problem with this plan. When LW'sMom said she liked knitting, She got LW'sM some kinitting stuff. Then knitting lost its charm, so She had to give the knitting stuff away. Besides that, She sometimes forgets what She has and gets more stuff. I fall over laughing when She does that.
Her lunch was so good, and full of variety that She is planning on having cereal for supper. I heard Her tell Him that. Oh, well. I'll look for something to share tomorrow. PipPip.
