Busy Cats

We had a busy day today. After our morning routine, She took care of some business. I don't get into that, because when it is business, She doesn't stop to brush me, so I stay clear. Then She went to visit where Katy'sBoy goes to school and talked to his teachers. She and Katy'sMom worked out how K'sB would start his year at school. While She was out, She ran a couple of errands, which makes Her come home knackered. Thank goodness She didn't start in talking about what She used to be able to do. Kasey and I are kind of sick of that. Well, then I could get my brushing.
There was a decision about how the country was going to solve some problems, so He watched all about that. Mostly while She was not home. The main worry was if His mother would get her money to stay in the place where she lives. It turns out that she will. Whew.
She was thinking a lot about Mazie today. Mazie will be twelve years old on Saturday, and when She thinks about it, it is all She can do not to cry. She is getting too old for the old Lala games. There were big brothers and a sister for Mazie to grow up with, so she is smart for her age. It is time for Her to let this darling girl go. Oh, She will send presents, but maybe not so often, or so big. And She will think about Mazie every day, the way She thinks about the Alphas. That's what She calls LW and her sibs.
Oh, I don't want this story to be sad, because it was a busy day with a lot of good things. Tune in tomorrow.
