History Cats

I was having a nice rest, stretched out across Her chest while He and She watched TV and had some coffee-the-drink. It was peaceful until something came up about women and working. You know She had a long career, and didn't even stop working after She retired, I'm not sure how it started, but I think it was about how TV has become so pew, showing people doing embarrassing things. He talked about long ago, when TV was about nice families and respectful children, and helpful doctors. She told Him that back in those days, their schoolbooks told girls how to behave, like always be cleaned up when the man came home, and don't bother him with problems, and stuff like that. Wives were supposed to keep things clean, have the children act nicely, and have a goode dinner waiting. Things were not like that in Her house, and She was glad. Kasey would not have lasted a day in a house like that. It was interesting to think about how things used to be, but the whole topic made me hungry, so I jumped down and had some kibbles.
The whole talk left Her feeling kind of sad for the state of affairs on TV. And don't get Her started on the topic of schools. Don't say I didn't warn you. Gotta go. Bye.
