There was no lunch with friends, no appointments, no shopping to do. Today She took the day off. She didn't even get dressed until nearly time to eat lunch. What's retirement for, Cofs, She said to me, if you can't take a day off once in awhile. As for me, I'm glad She was here. I figured something out about my new sister, Kate. For a long time, she lived outside a lot, and had to kind of take an attitude with the rest of the cats in order to avoid disputes. I like it that Kate is kind of feisty, except when she gets feisty with me. Our Aunt Heather told us it might help to put our litter boxes in separate places, so He did that today. We will see if that makes Kate feel better. I have to remember that it took me a long time to feel safe here.
This weekend is another special day for humans. It is about their fathers. I don't know my father, and neither did She - at least not very much. His father died when He was as old as LW, so He didn't have a chance for knowing His father very well. He and She will just sit this holiday out, I guess. Of course, He and She know some great fathers, and we will wish all kind of good things for them, but that will be all there is to it.
Pink fish tonight equals happy cats. Ah-dyoo, amis.
