Well-Adjusted Cats

Katy has been here nearly a week, and it is not unusual to see all three of us in the same room. That is a long way from where we were last week. Katy has learned that we are not threatening her, and we have learned that Katy is not replacing us in Their hearts. Katy is so comfy, in fact, that she doesn't try to get out when the front door is opened. When Katy's people come back, She hopes that they will understand if Katy stays here while they pack to move. It would make all of us nervous wrecks if she went back next door and then came back here in a couple of weeks.  He has gotten Katy a scratching post, an automatic waterer and feeder, and some more catnip.
Meanwhile, She has been writing furiously about what is wrong with schools. She is really fired up about all the testing, and complaints about public school. Those are free schools where every kid is supposed to go. Some people pay to send their kids to a different school, but She believes that there are rules that make teachers not teach right, and kids not learn right. Here is what She says about school. Kids need creativity, interaction and evaluation that takes their style of learning into consideration. I don't know what all that means, but it sure makes Her excited. Until tomorrow, my friends, buh-bye.
