Another special day for humans, another regular day for us. It turns out that the country where we live used to belong to the one where Her beloved Eddie lives. Back then, a bunch of guys didn't like the way things were going and decided to break off from them. She listened to some guys reading the letter they wrote to the former owners and told them they were quitting. A big war happened, and where we live was free. Independent, they call it. It was a big lot of years ago, so they celebrate with picnics and fireworks, which scare us very badly. We are glad we don't have to be outside when they set off fireworks, because they are loud and scary. He and She think firworks are dangerous and don't use them.
Kasey, Kate and I are all independent, except for getting kibbles and water, but we make our own rules and don't pay any taxes. It would make me laugh to see someone trying to make Kasey pay taxes. Kasey still yows at Kate when they get too close. No big deal, she still yows at me. Happy fireworks. Bye.
