Pretend Cats

Kasey, Kate and I pretend all the time. Sometimes we pretend a little paper on the floor is a bug, and we stalk it and chase it until we decide the toy mouse is real and we catch it and toss it all around. Today, She pretended She was at the movies. She fixed a big bowl of popcorn, poured a nice glass of ice tea, and put in the movie. It was dark outside, but you could still see a little, so She didn't turn on a light. The movie played on the TV, and She had such a good time watching it.  She knew He wouldn't like it, so She watched it while He was busy. He said it was a family movie, and He likes more mystery kinds of things. This was about a really sad family who wanted to get away from their old life, so they bought a zoo. That is a place where they keep wild animals and keep them happy, so they don't just die out. She loves that stuff. I caught Her crying at the end, but don't feel sad. It had a nice ending. People like zoos.
You know how much She likes ribs, don't you. She had ribs for her dinner last night, with Rocky'sFamily, and just like always, She saved some for our dinner tonight. She doesn't have to pretend about that. Well, so long until next time.
