Counting Cats

It is a very good thing that cats do not need money. After all, we earn our rent and food by being adorable, and all the toys are just a bonus. From what I have been able to figure out, money is nothing but trouble for humans.  If you know anything about Her, you know She is particular about money. If you know anything about Him, you know that He is not. We have scratched our heads a lot of times to try to figure out how he thinks. She believes it is because His family had enough money. Of course, Her family did not, always. She got the hint when He said something was a real bargain - only $60. Only? She asked. To Her a real bargain is $16.95. He is so very sweet to Her, and helps Her get around, so She tries not to get tense about it. Today She made Him promise that - once this new business was making Him so rich that he was tired of it - that He wouldn't start another one. Just between you and me, I wish Her good luck with that. He is an idea machine, you know. And a problem solver. She is just happy being retired. I love living here. Every day is an adventure. Later, Gator.
