It is not my style to laugh at other cats or people when they are in trouble, but it is all I can do to keep my whiskers straight because of what Kate did today. All day long Kate has been a little beggar, wanting some of Her breakfast, some of His treats, Kate would bump her head on Them to get extra attention. A while ago, while She was checking Her messages, Kate came in and bothered until she got some treats. When she wanted more, and She ignored her, Kate went and got on the kitchen counter. We are not supposed to do that, you know, but Kate did, and knocked over Her beloved Eddie-cup that She has used every day since She got it. The cup broke and She is mad at Kate. The little cat is in big trouble and I am not laughing. You know I'm not. I am not that kind of cat. OK, maybe just a little bit.
I was feeling kind of chipper anyway, because She came in with a plastic tape that She got off a package. She remembered how I loved to play with those things before Kate, and She and I played for a really long time. I was worn out after awhile, but She played with me until I nearly fell asleep. She told Him I purred louder than I have in a long time. So I am not sad today, except for Her losing Her precious cup. He has company now, so I'm going back to my room. Bye.
