Kindly Cats

Kasey is not the most kindly cat in the world, but she is like me when I feel kindly toward Her. Do you know, ever since She went on that boat ride, She has been acting as if She is old. I have known all along that She was old, and I don't see any reason why She didn't notice it before. She told me She would work on being chipper and more fun. I'll remind Her every day. One thing She is not interested in is for people and cats not to feel sorry for themselves. Count your blessings, She says. I'll tell Her to do that Her own self.
When we watched the news, the guy said it is going to start raining tomorrow. There goes the nice weather. I think the temperature will stay a little lower, but it won't be nice and dry in the air. We cats don't care so much about that, but He and She will probably have something to say.  She will be working on not feeling so old, so that means going out to lunch with lively people.
She had company today. It was a nice lady who has been here before. Well, Kate decided to be so cute and snuggle up to the lady. I don't know who Kate thinks she is, but I wish she would be that nice with us.  I'm going back to my closet for a nap. I got really tired playing with Her. So O-ree-vwar for now.
