Adapting Cats

My advice to you is don't get so used to something that you think it will always be the same. It turns out that we have to live with changes every day. Sometimes it is about changes that are very small, and it almost feels as though nothing is even different. Sometimes the change is so big that you have to go and live in another place.  The thing is, it is a waste of time to fight the change, and if you go along with it, that is called adapting.Kasey and I have had to adapt to a new situation when Kate came here to live. The one with the biggest change was Kate. She used to have a family with a dog and two busy kids. She was outside mostly, or in the garage. Now her life is more quiet and I think she misses the fun outside - but she never tries to get out. The change made her act like the boss of Kasey and me, and even now there are some times when we have a little yow-session. Kasey still goes to spend time with Him in His office. I don't get to spend so much time with Her, but I still get pets and snuggles, and plenty to eat and drink. It is much better than living outside, where there are dogs and strangers. What She says is that She wishes humans could adapt as well as Kasey and I did.She says that if people would realize everybody has certain things they have to do, and learn to count their blessings, they would be happier.  The hardest thing is missing people. She says. She misses some people every day, Some are gone forever, and some have moved very far away. I say that if you can't change it, you have to adapt. TTYL.
