Respectful Cats
One of these days we will have to do something about Kate. It is time the little mischief learned about respect. There is this rule that we learned when we first came here, and that is to don't do what you wouldn't want done to you. We don't scratch, unless it is an accident with our back paws, but we don't have claws in front, so that one is kind of easy. We know we are not supposed to bite, except for those little tease bites that say I love you and I want to play. We don't yow very loudly at Them, because we don't want Them to be loud with us. Actually, He is still working on that rule. Kasey does not yow back at Him when He hollers, and that helps Him calm down. We share our kibbles and our water, and don't chase each other away when we try to eat. We learn to respect everyone's space. Kate does not get this. Kate comes in the bedroom and into the closet, even though she doesn't let us come into her favorite areas. I have tried to chase Kate out, but it only works sometimes. If She chases Kate out, the little cat waits very close to the door. He got some stuff to spray around and it works sometimes, but mostly He forgets, or Kate doesn't care. If you have any good ideas on how to teach our new sister some respect, let me know, because I am a lover, not a fighter, and besides, Kate has claws. I'll let you know how the progress goes. Chow.
