Countdawn Cats

The last of the packages came today, and He laughed out loud when She showed Him what was in the box. There were only things for NEXT year's presents. She says that is how She makes sure She will be alive for next year's packages. So now all that is left is to mark which bag is for which grandchild, and their parents, and now She can sit and worry about if the boxes She sent got there. The sweet girls who play violins got their packages, and Mazie got her package, so there are just two more to hear about. Don't worry, He brought Her plenty of chips and dip to nosh on while She waits for news from far away. And there are two adorable (ahem) cats to play with, so time will go by quickly. She promised Him that She would look in the package from Her OperaGirl on Thursday if She hasn't heard about the package yet. He is just as tantalized as we are!
He has found a good way to get extra money. He has packed up all the books, tapes and CDs that they are finished with and has sold them to the bookstore down the street. Not their precious books and things, of course. Just things they won't read again. He has already got new books, which He loves. You know, no one has mentioned presents for cats. Hmmmm. They did hear on the TV that there are cat foods that make cats sick and even die, and She got very sad, because that is what killed our cousin, Charlotte. He told us that They don't have any of that bad kind. We are happy about that. because we like not being sick. I will go see what She is making in the kitchen. Something tells me it's fish! TaTa for now.
