Puzzled Cats

Kasey and I were looking out the window, and it is simply beautiful out. There is not a cloud in the sky, everything looks so nice and sunny. The sun spot on the floor is as warm as it is in summer - although it goes away earlier. Then She comes in the room dressed in a bunch of warm clothes.. I looked very quizzical, because I know She would melt on a sunny day like this if She went out with all those layers of clothes. When She opened the door, it felt like icicles in the air. Of course, I have never seen an icicle, but it felt very cold at the door. I scampered back to my sun spot before I got ice on my whiskers. Even Kasey was not tempted to go out. And WE have fur coats on.
When She went to the store, She said the cold weather make Her buy a lot of snacks. She got special ones for Him, that were made of healthful stuff. She got grapes for Them, and peanut-butter crackers for Herself. She says it makes Her feel cozy to have plenty of snacks. Kasey likes snacks, too. They can't get over how I don't eat the cat treats. My treat is the butter.
Good news about our cousin, Pip! She is quite happy in her new home. She has a bed and a box of toys, and her Mom says she purrs as loud as I do. They are calling her Princess Pip of Purrville. That makes all of us smile.
There is still a little warm square of sun on the floor. I'll go back and curl up in it now, before it goes away altogether. TTYL.
