Family Cats
When I was born, I had a cat-mom. She was very nice to me, and taught me stuff, but then she had to go on with her life and I went to live with people. They were nice at first, but then they took off my claws, which was very owie. I got good food there, but those people didn't have time for a cat, and they gave me away to the Esspeeceeay. I met Kasey there, but Kasey did not feel like being friends. That's OK, because I heard the people talking there, and found out Kasey had the same experiences I had. I was very scared when I lived at the Esspeeceeay. I lived in a cage. The people were nice, but they didn't have time, either. One day, He and She came in. They looked at Kasey. They looked at me. She liked me the most, and He liked Kasey. It ended up that They took us both. It was so scary in Their house. I stayed under stuff until I realized They were going to take care of us. Kasey told Them right away that They were lucky to have her, and she took over Him and His space. Both He and She took good care of us. They love us and feed us and pet us and give us snuggles and treats, and I feel very safe here. At least I did before They brought Kate here to live. After awhile, Kate and I became sister and brother, and I wasn't scared anymore. Kasey didn't change a thing. Anyway, now She is my Mom, and He is my Dad, and we have lots of cousins and aunts and uncles. I learned what it means to have a family. It means someone loves you and cares for you and is glad you are part of the life they live. Even if they don't live near you, they keep you close in other ways. I love my family. It is made out of love. Bye for now.
