Angry Cats

We wondered why She has seemed so angry lately, and so I asked her what was bumming Her out. It turned out to be about a young man who was just walking home from the store, and because he was not a white man, another man shot him. She is as sad as if it had been one of us. To add to Her grief, no one arrested the guy who shot him, even though the boy didn't have any weapons. She said the days when you could kill someone without an investigation should be over by now. The white man said he was just defending himself, but She doesn't believe that. This will probably be on the news for awhile, and as long as it is, She will be angry, so we will be angry about it, too.
To cheer Herself up, She went over some of the details of Their upcoming trip. She made all the arrangements for the hotel for before and after the boat ride. It didn't work to cheer Her up, because She had forgotten the name of the hotel! Don't worry, She finally found it, but that would have been pretty funny if They got all the way to the ocean and She didn't now where to go. In case anyone wonders, it is called HarborView.
It will be a quiet night, with leftovers for dinner and good lap-time for me, while they watch TV.
