Problem Cats
I was lying all cozy in my piece of sunshine on the floor by the window, when I started to feel a little peckish. I wandered over to my nice, blue dish - and that's when the problem started. Of course, He had filled it last night. I had gotten up to eat a snack now and then during the night, but I did not eat all the food. It must have been my sister, Kasey, who finished it off. Now, Kasey is a slim little girl-cat. She looks very delicate compared to me. But she eats as if she were the size of our cousins Nick and Lion, who are giant cats. Now I had to figure out what to do. I went into the hallway and meowed my head off. He thought I wanted water, so He turned on the bathtub tap. I couldn't let the opportunity go by, so I jumped into the tub and had nice, big slurp or two. But, nice as it was, it didn't solve my problem. Since She was at Her computer, I jumped up on the back of Her chair. She gave me several pets and brushed my fur, but She didn't get my message. I jumped down, then up again, and by the third jump, the light began to dawn on Her. At last, one bathtub drink, 73 pets and a brushing, She filled my dish again. Meanwhile, Kasey, acting all innocent, jumped up on the brick wall where her own dish is, and crunched away. Sisters. Some of you guys know what a burden they are. Must go snack now, while it is still there. Oddy-ose.
