One day, She sent Cleo'sMom a paper from one of Her companies. There is where you get something nice for half price. Long ago, They used to go to this place with Cleo'sPeople, and everyone was happy to be there. Now that She doesn't travel so much, She thought Cleo'sPeople would go there and have some nice food. The paper was only going to be good for a few more days, So She and Cleo'sMom traveled all the way to the other side of our town to visit. They had so many happy memories of that place. Well, She started with coffee-the-drink, and had something called a mushroom omelet. The way She tells it, it sounds simply delicious. The two ladies sat and took their time eating their omelets, and got ready for the long ride home. She was amazed when She came in the house, to see Kate and me both snoozing in my sun spot. Not fighting or anything. Here's what She thinks. In a few weeks, Kate and I will be in the same place without a fuss. It makes Her glad to think about that. She told me She is tired of the two of us being drama queens. I had to remind Her that I am a boy cat, and therefore a drama king.
So tomorrow is their anniversary, which means another year that They have been married to each other. Instead of celebrating it then, They will wait and have dinner with Smudge'sPeople, on the next day. Maybe you remember that these two families have their marriages one day apart. He and She don't care which day they pick. They enjoy the party. Also, They have some fun presents for Smudge'sPeople.
She is so full of omelet and coffee and bagels that She doesn't want to eat supper, so He will have some leftovers. I guess I will settle for kibbles. Toodles.
