Blue Cats

I was resting on a paper, and I happened to look down to see if there was an interesting story in it. The story was about being blue and I wondered why? I had never seen a blue person, and only our old sister Kate was blue in color. Maybe the story was about her. It wasn't long until I realized it wasn't talking about blue in color. It was about blue in feelings. When Kasey and I feel blue, it means we are sad, so we just have a little snooze and a snack, and then we are happy again. When humans are sad, they make lots of mistakes, such as saying they are fine, when what they really need are some snuggles. Instead of a snack, sometimes they get way too much to eat. Or maybe they don't eat at all. Nothing will turn us back to pink like a little taste of kibbles or treats, and then we move on. Sometimes humans drink too much of a beverage that makes them act strangely. When that strange feeling wears off, they are even bluer. He and She don't drink those kinds of beverages, so They can get over being blue, usually. Sometimes it is the way your brain is wired together that makes you blue for no particular reason. There are pills for that, and She has to take those pills. If she gets a little sad over something, though, all it takes is some time with Her beloveds, and some snuggles from Her adorable cat. (ahem). Next time I go to sleep on a paper, I will pick one with jokes or cat stories. I don't like being blue. Ah-dyoo, amis.
