Frisky Cats
A lot of things changed around here when He and She adopted Kate, the Russian Blue. Our lives were turned around, because Kate was a cute little indoor-outdoor cat, and Kasey and I are kind of, well, older. And set in our ways. Kate was not allowed to go outside, but after nearly a year, she couldn't stand it anymore, and decided to go out. They tried to coax her back in, but Kate was happy outside. Then she was gone. It has taken quite awhile, but now Kasey and I have returned to some of our old habits.Kasey still hesitates to get on the floor, unless it is by Kate's scratching post, which Kasey just loves, even though she does not have claws. Also, Kasey has begun to get on His lap to watch TV, which she did not do before. As for me, I have learned to sleep in many other places besides over Her head, but I still do that sometimes. I get my snuggles again on a regular basis, and both Kasey and I have gotten very frisky, and chase around for no reason. I stalk Her toes and run away madly when they get close. One thing that makes Her tickled pink is when I get in my sun spot in the afternoon. She says everything is all right when I am in my spot. It is fun being frisky, as if we were kittens again. He feeds an outside cat every day, a Bengal cat. He has reassured us that He will not bring her inside. I believe He and She learned a lesson from Kate. We are enough cats for Them. Toodle Pip for now.
