Planning Cats
Here is the way I plan. I do it one day at a time, because every day is a new adventure for me. Not so much for Kasey, because Kasey's plans are the same every day. She gets up and has a treat, goes back to bed and sleeps until someone comes into the bedroom for something. Then she jumps up for another treat and goes back to bed. After a nap, Kasey goes to eat some kibbles and goes back to bed. This goes on until night, when she goes and gets on His lap for awhile, and then goes back to bed. In the middle of the night, she runs around and yows, and sometimes fusses with me, until I biff her, then she biffs me and goes back to bed. I have a zany life of a combination of routines and new stuff. It is routine for me to wake Her up in the morning, but sometimes I do it by putting my paws on Her face; sometimes I walk back and forth across Her chest. When I feel like it, I give Her a massage, and if She doesn't get right up, I give Her a couple of nips - love bites, I call them. Kasey and I don't write things down, of course, but He and She write things on calendars, so they remember their plans. Hers are mostly lunches or meetings, and after She writes them down, She doesn't forget them. She is usually excited to see the people in Her plans, so She doesn't need to check Her plans a lot. He goes somewhere almost every day, but She only goes somewhere if there is a beloved involved. Planning is a wise thing to do, because there is a really sad feeling if you would miss something. She does not like to admit it, but Her memory isn't what it used to be when She was teaching at school, and She wrote lesson plans. Writing things down is a good way to remember. I wish She would write down what She plans for dinner, because I like to know what to be ready for. Don't worry, Cofs, She says to me. I know what you like. I hope She really knows I like that sausage She gets. It is my favorite, right after fish and chicken. I'll go check on that, TTYL.
