We are not used to dreary weather here, and Kasey and I have been getting lots of nap-time in. She has a fuzzy, pink robe that She got last year from Cleo'sPeople for Christmas. It is very cat-friendly when She is sitting in Her big chair. It practically calls out for me to snuggle on it. Kasey has examined it, but would never ever ever get up on Her to snuggle on it. Kasey likes it when She lays it on the bed when She gets dressed, and has been caught giving it a massage. I think it reminds Kasey of her blue blanket.
He and She have been enjoying the barbecue stuff that Katy'sMom brought over. He has been eating the beans and cole slaw, but She eats the meat as well. There was so much meat that She fixed it in packages and put it in the freezer. That was a really great gift. I have had little bites of that meat, and I can see why She loves it. She would not be able to do what He has done, that is, become a person who just eats vegetables.
She is also reading about that far-away country where Deena'sMom went. She says that about the time She came here to Texas, it was a plain old desert, and now it is like a magical world of lovely buildings, gorgeous worship places, and big fancy malls. In the pictures She has seen, She says it is like another world, like in a sci-fi movie. I still wish her family would come back here. That is selfish, She says, but She wishes for that, too. I'm ready for another nap now. TTYL
