Soothing Cats

This is something that we don't see very often. It turns out that She had a wicked headache today, and it was my job to soothe Her while She rested Her eyes. It is such a rare thing for Her to get a headache that I was not sure if I should climb up while She lay down with a towel over Her eyes, but it turns out that is just what She needed. For almost an hour She rested, after She took those red pills. You will not be surprised to know that Kasey did not come ou on Her tummy, but soothed Her from across the room. Kasey is kind of like that. It was His opinion that it was something called sinus. Another thing that made Her feel better was a talk with Her friend named Bertie, who lives very, very far away. He and She visited her friend, and later She went to visit her with Smudge'sMom. Today She wished her friend a happy birthday and found out that the lady's best present is that her sister is cured from cancer. That is a horrible disease, and it made Her so happy. It is a hard disease to get cured, and today was a good day to find it out. Tonight She goes to see Her beloved Crones. Not many people go to visit Crones anymore, but If Cleo'sMom is there it will be enough for Her, and maybe Smudge'sMom will be there as well. You know what this means, don't you? There will be no sharing of dinner tonight. He made sure we had plenty of kibbles before He left for His meeting, so Kasey and I will not starve.
