A Cat Change!

Long ago, before we came to live here, He and She had a cat named Charlotte. Everyone tells us Charlotte was a lovely, soft and beautiful cat. Charlotte used to belong to Mazie and her family. Well She told us that Charlotte got some bad catfood, and she died. He and She waited until they were ready for a new cat, and that's when They got Kasey and me. Well, Charlotte used to sleep in a box on Her desk, called an inbox. It is for holding papers that She intends to file someday. For the last few days, Kasey has been getting up on Her desk, and She wondered what would happen if She fixed up the box like it had been for Charlotte. She took a nice, soft towel and put it in the bottom of the inbox. I didn't want to get in it, it was too small for me, and no one thought Kasey would get in it. Guess what !?! Kasey stepped into it and sniffled it all ove. finally, she lay down on the towel, and took a bath. Then she curled up and went to sleep. It turns out that she really loves that box! She can't wait to tell Mazie!
Today She did the kind of teacher thing that She used to do. She loves that. It was to help Katy's boy, and She said it was a success. This was an amazing deay!
I'm kind of worn out from all the excitement, so I'll get on the back of the couch and have a snooze. TTYL

Kasey?

Can you believe this? Kasey has been getting up on Her desk while She is computering, and even lies down for awhile! Perhaps Kasey wants to write a story for herself! That will be a big surprise to me, because Kasey has never been interested in these stories. To tell the truth, Kasey has never been interested in Her! She gets on His desk all the time, but this is new for her to jump up here. What She thinks is that Kasey is beginning to forgive Her for holding her on the ride home from the espeeceeay. Kasey had dug herself out of the cardboard box that they gave Them to take us home, and had pushed on the button that makes the window go down. Kasey was making an escape! So She got hold of her and held her tightly while they rode home, and She thinks Kasey has been mad at Her ever since. He is amazed at Kasey, because she dug her way out without even having claws. That was one determined little cat, He says. Well, now Kasey gets up here, and sits for awhile. One thing She knows is not to try to pet Kasey. I am the one who likes all the pets and snuggles. Kasey doesn't even like one single snuggle! You are going to have to watch to see if Kasey tries to write a story. If she does, my guess is that it will be rude!
Thirsty now. I'm going for a drink. Toodles.

Joke on Her

Well, since She does jokes on other people, it is only fair that LW's Mom played one on Her. LW'sMom told Her to come and hear this wonderful speaker at Her church. She doesn't go that often, so She said sure. She looked it up and this guy was going to talk about semantics. That is one of Her favorite subjects. In fact, She has given a couple of talks on that subject Herself! So She got there, and saw Her beloved Alphas - so far so good - when the surprise happened! It wasn't a new guy at all! It was an old guy who had changed his name! What a trickster that LW'sMom is!
Then She went and ate some nachos, which are chips with meat and cheese on them. She always brings some home when She has nachos with Mable's Mom, so we will have our leftover nachos and the ones M'sM didn't eat. Yummmm! Of course, He will eat His vegetables. Well, there are some peppers for Him, which He will love to eat, because they are vegetables.
It was nice to see some of Her friends today, and to have nachos, and to get some decluttering done. We are going to watch some TV tonight, which means I will get pets and fall asleep on Her lap.

Satur-Cat

Saturdays are pretty quiet around here, because She doesn't like to go out on Saturdays, so it gives me time to get some extra snuggles. She has gotten lots of phone calls, though, and one in particular made her happy. Mazie has a big brother who did not move far away with the family. In fact he lives close to where we live. It made Her happy that he called just to keep in touch, and She was glad he didn't forget Her! He told Her he has a cat and a rat that he cares for, and She said it shows the world how sweet and kind he is. She can't invite him over for dinner, because now that He only eats vegetables, She doesn't cook much any more.
There are a lot of messages from her computer friends, as well. We like Saturdays, because we take a lot of time to read and answer. I get on the desk and help Her. I especially like the ones about cats. Some of them are so funny! I am glad I know how to laugh! None of them are as beautiful as Kasey and me, but She says I mustn't say that. Everyone thinks His or her cats are special. We think Katy and Smudge are beautiful, too, so I guess She is right. Katy's husband? Not so much.
I hear Her coming, so I shall wish you all a good night.

Cat Call

Everything was going along fine. I was getting my butter and my pets, Kasey was getting her treats, and Katy's husband was eating some kibbles outside. The He got a phone call from the place where His mother lives. They said she was still sick, even though He took her to the doctor this week already. The wanted her to go to the hospital, so He went to take her, and they said she had to stay there while they put water back into her. She was all dried up, I guess. When He came home, He said she didn't look very good. His mother is very old, even older than Her, and she is very unhappy about everything. We will wait and see what happens, but She says dying is not the worst thing that happens to a person.
Mostly, She did errands and some organizing today. She has made a little dent in Her organzing, because She is sorting out things on Her desk. When She used to go to work, Her desk was always nice and neat, and She crossed things off Her list all the time. She says She is waiting for the spirit to move Her. I don't know what that means, but it suits Her. She always has time for snuggles, puzzles, and her computer friends, and She likes to go for coffee-the-drink with Her crones, and She is mostly cheered up, so I guess maybe the spirit is coming after all.
Whew, I need a big drink of water! TTYL.

Give it Away!

It was Her goal today to give a big bunch of stuff to a place called Goodwill. He suggested that either She should give it away or put everything back, because the big bag has been sitting there awhile now. First She thought She would fill another big bag and take things all at once, but for some reason, She has trouble getting that done. She looks at everything, and She thinks She won't ever need it again - but then She gets stuck. He says He will take it, but She says Oh, no. It's no trouble for me, and you are so busy with your school. Well, today She just put it in Her car and took it away. She told Him that it was easy, and now She will work on bag #2. She bought 4 of the kinds of bags She wants to fill. One down three to go. Don't rush me, Coffster, She says to me.
She was excited to be going to read stories to LW's next size sister, but then LW's Mom told Her it was early in the morning, and She doesn't do early mornings any more. She is very sad that She is disappointing LW's sis, but it would not be fun for Her to be in traffic so early. Besides, She says, it might make LW's sis embarrassed if She showed up in Her pajamas!
Katy's husband is at the door, crying for kibbles. I have to go get Her to take some to him. So long for now..

Another Coffee

Today She went to have coffee-the-drink with one of her favorite friends. She doesn't see enough of this person, She says, so today She left me behind to go to a different place. She told me Her coffee tasted like pumpkin! I don't know what that tastes like, but I am kind of glad She didn't bring any for me! She told me they don't make coffee that tastes like tuna!
While She was doing that, He was taking His mother to the doctor. The place where His mother lives told him that she was sick, but they couldn't give her medicine unless the doctor says it is OK. That made Him wonder what they do with people who don't have a son to call. Of course, once He had her out, He took her to eat some lunch. He brought some of it home for Her to have for Her dinner. That's the good part, because She feels sorry for Him to have to use up His time like that. Oh, the doctor gave him a note to tell them they could give his mom regular medicine from the store.
She got a nice picture of Mazie today. Mazie is learning to play a big thing called a cello, which is almost as big as Mazie! She printed out the picture and hung it up. It makes it easier for Her to not miss Mazie so much.
Is that tuna I smell in the box He brought home? Must go check. So long for now.

Hey, Coffs

That is what She says to me when She is feeling cheerful. Today was off to a good start. We had our bagel and butter, and She had coffee-the-drink, and She was getting ready for her meeting with the thinking people. The trouble is, it was raining very hard. It rained so hard last night that Kasey curled up by Him, and I went into the closet! But a little rain doesn't stop Her. She wanted Him to go with Her to the thinking meeting, but He had to go to His school. She told me there were people missing from the thinking meeting, but She enjoyed it anyway. It was a good question, She said, about how people (and cats) should treat each other. She just loves the people in Her thinking group!
Last night, She watched a long TV show about this doctor that is very rude to everyone, but now he has to learn to be nice. She was crying by the end of it, so I didn't get to ask Her if we could send Kasey to that place. I believe She likes this TV show very much. I sat on Her lap while She watched it, but I kind of fell asleep. I get sleepy when I am all cozy like that. She didn't care, anyway.
I am going to explore the closet now. There may be something to stalk in there. TaTa.

Computer Day

I thought She would never get away from the computer today! She was off to eat Her lunch, and decided to check the mail. WELL! there were Her tickets to go far away to see Her beloved Eddie! Of course, She had to come back and tell everyone she ever saw about that! She worried about where She would put those tickets so that She would not forget where they were. You see, the tickets are for a VERY long time from now. Naturally, people were giving Her suggestions, so She stayed there even longer. Thank goodness She has a TV show She like to watch, or I would never get a chance to write my story today! It is a program about dogs, I believe, because it is named Bones.
While She was decluttering this morning, She came across some photos of Her brother, so She had to look at them for awhile. He is Abby's Dad, and She really loves him. And She found some pictures of Her Crones, so I had to get on her lap and purr to be in the right spirit. All the while, in front of the computer! Luckily, She has Her thinking group tomorrow!
I think I'll go in and see what this dog program is like. Ah reevwar.

Cat Bites

I'll tell you just how it happened. When I went for my early morning snack, my bowl was empty. I guess Kasey had the munchies during the night, and didn't bother climbing up where They keep her bowl. Well, I gave Her a little nudge, and She began petting me. I think She wanted to keep sleeping. I jumped up on Her tummy and began to give Her a massage. She petted me some more. I was getting nowhere with this nice cat approach, so I had to show Her I needed something. She is usually good about seeing that. Honestly, it was only the tiniest nip. It didn't even make a mark! But it DID work! She said Coffee wants something! So He got up and gave me some food in my bowl. She said I hurt Her feelings. I wouldn't bite you, She said. She didn't accept my apology at first, and resisted my adorable cuddles under Her chin. I began to think there would be no butter for me today. But She had some coffee-the-drink, and gave me my butter. I had about five fingers, in fact. Before She went to See Mable's Mom, we were friends again. I really don't ever want to bite Her, ever again, but a cat needs his early morning snack, so no promises. Anyway, it was all Kasey's fault.
Too much excitemennt. I need a little rest. Toodle Pip.

A Celebration

What She did today was to go to see people who knew Juliette's Mom, and remember her with love and tears. I asked Her why people cry when they are celebrating, and She says it is because they are sorry for themselves because they can't see the person anymore. It is nice to hear what people had to say about Ms. Rita, who is Juliette's Mom. It is all true, She says, the Ms. Rita memories. It was nice to see Juliette's Dad, too, because he must be lonely, and lots of nice things that people said should make him feel a little better. Most of the Crones were there, and She told them that Ms. Rita was a great Crone.
One thing that made her heart smile was that LW's Mom and brother sat with Her, and even helped Her get up and down steps. It was, She told Him, as if She had Her own angel there. And guess what LW'sM did! She got Her lots of coffee and good things to eat! She didn't bring any home, though. That would be rude, She said. Kasey said she didn't see anything wrong with bringing things home - but that's Kasey for you!
I believe I will go and give Her some snuggles now. She has been gone SO long. Bye.

She Smiles

This is why She was smiling today - She was having coffee-the-drink with Smudge's Mom. They always have fun when they get together, and She reports back to us about Smudge and his family. Smudge has a cat of his own, now. That cat's name is Frankie, because he has blue eyes. I don't know what that means, but She says it is a good idea. Another thing She likes is that She and S'sM plan road trips. It is a long time away, but they are planning another one. He says Dallas should watch out!
Katy's girl came over, and brought Her a sweet letter, and showed Her some good grades. She is so proud of Katy's girl, and She loves that letter. She is going to hang it up.
Tomorrow, She may not be smiling so much. It is a day when all Juliette's Mom's friends get together to remember what a nice lady she was. One thing She says is that what J'sM, Ms. Rita, would like is to celebrate her life and not mourn her death. She really believes in that, and so does He. It may be a smiling day, too, after all.
What is that black and white cat doing in our back yard? I have to check it out. Addy-Ose.

A Cat's Work

I hope you know we are not here just to be beautiful. There is actually a lot of work for us to do' For example, the first thing every morning, we must check on how They are feeling. If They are very busy, we must clear out of the way, which sometimes involves climbing onto some high places. Kasey is particularly good at this. If She is glum, my assignment is to cheer Her up. Of course, Kasey looks after Him, but she doesn't give snuggles or anything. She just hangs around Him. He seems to like that. Then, we have to guard the front door when They go out for the paper or the mail. Katy and her husband come running over, lots of times, and we must make mean faces at them so they don't want to come in. Today, Katy growled at Kasey! I guess Kasey's face looked meaner than usual. Then, there is this blog-writing. How would everyone know what was happening if I didn't write this? He is too busy with His school, and She is too busy looking at catalogs! Don't worry - I'll keep writing, but I am not just beautiful, I work hard, too.
Right now I have to check on what She s getting out of the freezer. Hmmm. Maybe fish! That would be good news!

More Cat Comment

They have a thing in Their sink, and They put things down there to be washed away and gone. It makes a terrible noise, which would scare anycat. To tell the truth, I was glad it didn't work. Much quieter in the kitchen. For some reason, They felt it was important to get it fixed, so today a guy came over and fixed it. At first, it worked fine, while I covered my ears. They the fixing guy said it was leaking all over the place, and said he had to put in a new one. Get a quieter one, I said, So the guy did, and now the new one is in and they can grind things up again. Still too loud, in my opinion!
Then His mother called about ten times. She had lost our phone number, but He wrote it down for her one more time, and she hasn't lost it yet. When His mom calls, She won't answer the phone. If She ever does, or if She needs to "save" Him, She actl like She is talking to a little kid.She tells Him, don't argue with her, she doesn't know what she's talking about. So today, a nurse called and said she had tried to make an appointment to see her, and finally, the nurse gave up and called Her. It made Her laugh that the nurse said the old woman did not make any sense. DUH, She said to me, after She hung up.
Her beloved Eddie needs to rest after his long running work. Kasey is resting on her blue blanket, and I am headed for the back of that comfy sofa. I'll be back tomorrow.

Victories Big and Small

Today I really needed a drink of water. The silver bowl was way down, so I had to get water with my paw. The water in my regular bowl had a kibble in it - yuck! While She was at Her computer, I jumped up and gave Her some snuggles. I guess She thought I was asking for a brushing, because I got lots of good brushings, but that was not it. I came back in a few minutes and got on Her keyboard. She picked me up from there and petted me. That felt good, but it still wasn't what I wanted. I went back AGAIN, and this time She caught on! Are you out of food? I jumped down and ran to my bowl. She could see there was food in it - but She also saw the yucky water! She took it away and washed it nice and clean and filled it with water. What a clever girl She is! I believe at this rate, I'll have Her trained pretty soon. OH, then She filled the silver bowl on the table, as well. Oh, that water tasted good! I drank a whole bunch.
Then I had to dance with Her, because Her beloved Eddie finished his running project. She was so glad, because She has been worried about him the whole time. Now, all is well. Missionns accomplished.
I have to go look at a cat that's in the backyard now. Toodles.

Not List-less Today

Today, She had a list with six things on it, and She crossed out four! Well, I had to give Her a massage for that! She says tomorrow is another day, and after the fourth thing, She said She was knackered, so we can give her some credit. She got Her beloved tickets, so that was quite a nice thing to cross off the list. She heard a rumor that the show is already sold out, so good job to Her! Now She will just have to wait patiently for it to be January. She always says don't wish your life away, so She is happy to have every day until then!
He says it is some kind of magic that makes Them always have a gray cat! For a long time They fed a gray kitty that came for breakfast every day. One day he just stopped coming. He thinks it was after a big storm last year. Well, now the gray cat who gave Katy the kittens comes for breakfast every day! He is gray, with a fluffy tail. Katy is gray, too, but she just comes to visit, hoping for a treat. This new cat yows very loudly, and he shows up every time they open the door. When They give him some food, he eats as if he is very hungry. Kasey and I don't mind, as long as he stays outside! No new cats, we have told Them!
The back of the sofa looks soft and inviting. I think I'll go there and rest my eyes. Toodles.

Magic Sunday

There is a song that LW likes, and she calls it Magic Sunday. When She heard that, She laughed. It was some kind of joke, I guess, but I thought that it was a nice name for a song. LW has some good ideas, so I'm fine with calling it that, and She does not need to laugh at LW and me!
There were some things on the list that She had to do before She went to have lunch with Mable's Mom. She said it was a particularly nice lunch, and She brought some home, like She does -But She said it was pancakes, and I do not think I will like them. I will try some, to be polite.
One thing She misses is going to church. She used to like to go, but says She does not feel the love there anymore. She told Him that it was like She took care of the church when it was young, but now it is like a teenager. It thinks it knows everything, and doesn't need Her care anymore. He said He saw it coming. Well, She will go sometimes, to hear LW's Mom and some other friends.
She is really looking forward to getting some tickets tomorrow. I hope She still has enough money left to buy cat food! Right now, we have a big bag of food, and so do the birds. Who knows, maybe her ship will come in. She always says when My ship comes in, I will do this or that. All She wants now is to go see Eddie. Oh, and peace on Earth, She says!
I will write more tomorrow. Now I have to go chase Kasey. Bye.

Another Cat-urday

We were up early and ready for a busy day. The thing She liked was brunch with Mable's Mom and another friend. She had a bunch of things to do before she went, but She got them done, and went off with a clear conscience. They had a nice time, and agreed what to do about M'sM's birthday. They are going out to dinner before Crones. They plan to ask Smudge's Mom to join them, and Cleo's Mom, too, if she doesn't have to work. I think all Her planning from the other day has paid off!
I am tired of the deCluttering, but here She goes again. She wants to take things to the charity place, and has that on her list for Monday. I'll tell you how that works out! Her list doesn't always get things crossed off the way we want.
LW got the surprise They sent. She just loves to give people surprises! Apache's girl liked her surprise, and Cleo's Girl is getting one on Monday. Surprises are fun, unless they have loud noises in them!
She is going to have fish for Her supper, an I will try to help Her with that. See ya later.

Lucky Lunch

Today, His mother had to go to a doctor, and then He took her to lunch. This is a very old lady, and she only ate a couple fo bites, so He brought the lunch home for Her. I could smell the chicken in it and so I climbed up to see if She would share. I guess my eyes looked hungry, so She gave me some bites. It was very good chicken, and She said it was a nice salad as well! Even though He had a hard morning, She and I got some good out of it.
Something is making Her chuckle. It is that Apache's girl got a bag of candy with her name on it. She really likes all of Apache's family, but right now, She thought Apache's girl needed to keep her cheer up. She is tickled pink that A'sG liked the candy! And Super Froggy Girl should be getting a froggy treat pretty soon, as well. When it comes, SFG (who is really LW---snerk!) will share it with her sibs, and everyone will be happy.
I guess everything is good today. She sent a letter to the people who make the laws and told them to do what the President says, and don't be rude!
I believe it is going to rain. I'll go give Her some snuggles so she isn't scared. ToodlePip.

Big Plans

Guess what She is all excited about now. Her beloved Eddie is coming to Texas in January, and tickets for special people go on sale next week, before everyone else! She was telling Him that it is in a place named Dallas, which is kind of far, but She is going to travel there. Another friend wants to fly there and stay in a hotel. I do not want Her to stay away in a hotel! It is fine for Her to see this guy, but She needs to be home with Her cats! She isn't going to get snuggles from him, is She? See what I mean?
So now She has to talk to Mable's Mom, because M'sM's birthday is on the same day as the Crones' meeting. She wants to plan something really nice for M'sM, so there is something else to plan. It looks as if She has gone into Plan Mode right now, with Memorial service and birthdays and figuring out how to get to see Eddie.
She is also very proud of the President. The day after he told children to stay in school, he talked to the people that make the laws, and She said his speeches were wonderful. But She is very annoyed that some people were rude to him. No reason to be rude! She feels very serious about that. She tells that to Kasey all the time! She said She wanted to give those rude people a very mean look!
He has come back from His school now, so I will go get a couple of pets befpre I take my nap. chow.

Crones Rule!

This was a particularly rainy day, and lots of Her Crones said they couldn't make it to the lunch, but She went anyway, and there were only five Crones today. But She was happy when She got home from lunch, because She had saved half Her lunch to have for Her dinner, while He eats His vegetables. Two meals for the price of one, She says. There iis a new word in the ads: frugalista. She likes that word. It sounds so much better than cheap, She says. So She is a frugalista - and I am not surprised!
She gave all the Crones the updates on Mazie, and on Mazie's Dad's hurt arm. everyone said to send love to him, so they focused on that, She says. They talked about Ms. Rita, and decided to look for a new place to eat their lunch together.
His mom is out of the hospital place, and back at the place where she lives. He says His mom doesn't like anyplace. I like lots of places: The chair, the sofa, the closet, under the table,lots of places. Someone told a guy that they thought They were taking his mom's money, so the guy investigated. It was his decision that they are not stealing the money. Whew!
I'm going to see what is in my bowl. TTYL

Sleepy Cat

I am one knackered cat, I can tell you! I must have had to give Her a dozen snuggles yesterday, and today was more of the same! She was anxious about Mazie starting a new school, but Mazie's Mom sent a picture of her outside her new school, and later, Mazie left Her a message that everything was OK on her first day! Whew! What a relief! I bet Mazie will be happy when she sees what came in the mail for her today. (snerk)
Then She found out that Mazie's Dad got hurt while packing things to take to their new home. She was bummed, because She didn't want him to think She hoped he would hurt himself, just because he took her baby away! She really loves Mazie's family!
Katy-Next-Door got her stitches out today, so she can live her life as an independent cat, no kittens involved. Katy didn't like the trip to the vet, but she decided to forgive Her and have a little snack when they got home.
Busy day, lots of snuggles and pets, lots of news. I am ready for a snooze! (Yawn). Bye, now.

Sunday Reports

First, I will tell you how happy She was to have dinner with Him and Smudge's People. They went to a place where He could get His vegetables, and She said they looked very good. She had a sandwich with salmon on it, and did not bring any home for me. She told me She had a wonderful time, and a wonderful cookie.
Today, She went to eat lunch with Mabel's Mom, and a friend of theirs. They went to the place where they have papusas, and Hers was so big She couldn't eat it all. She really loves that place, but being with M'sM is always fun for Her. Here's what they want to plan: Name a country that starts with A and go to a restaurant that makes food from that country. He says to start with America and go to Denny's. She says ha ha.
It was so happy for Her to hear about Mazie starting school. Mazie should be in a gifted class, because Mazie is so very smart, and knows SO many words! Some day Mazie will be in a new house, Her daddy will buy it for her.
It is thundering now. I am not scared, but I feel like going into the closet anyway. Bye, now.

Friend Comes Over

What a great surprise! Today Katy-Next-door came over and had a nice visit with us. You see, there was a workman at her house, and her Mom thought she would be happier here for awhile. At first, she yowed and yowed, but she settled down and got cozy. Kasey checked her out, but Kasey doesn't make friends with anybody, except Him, so she got nose-to-nose with Katy, then hissed at her. What a rude thing to do! When the fixing work was over, Katy went home, but I think she liked it here.
He couldn't go to His school today because it was closed. He has to use their computers for his homework. She is glad He didn't buy the stuff He needs to do it at home, because it costs a lot of money, and She is very fussy about money! It is some kind of holiday when people don't have to go to work or school on Monday, but I rest every day, so every day is a holiday for Kasey and me.
They are going to have dinner with Smudge's Mom and Dad. It is a place where He can get His vegetables. She says She will have the meat, thank you very much!
We are getting a lot of kitty-friends, and I am glad I am not scared of them. Nap time now, so Toodles.

We Can Sing

We are singing together for joy and bagels! When She had lunch with Deena's Mom, She brought her a late birthday present, but Guess what!?! Deena's Mom brought US presents, too! I mostly like the special bagels Deena's mom sent for me, so I can have my butter on spicy-bagel fingers! Wait until He sees what D'sM sent for Him. It is a light that you can wear on your head, so you can see in dark places. He has always wanted one of those. The best thing is, She got one, too. When the lights go out, She will be able to do Her puzzles in the dark. Oh, how we love Deena's Mom!
He went off to His school today. He just loves going to school. It is so nice that he has his thinking back. That is another thing that makes her feel like singing, because they have so much fun together when he is fine. He made a joke about me today: What is Coffee's favorite candy? Butterfinger! Get it? I was licking the butter off her finger. I am still laughing over that one!
One of these days, She says, She is going to get someone to help Her get rid of all this dust! She says we are going to start sneezing pretty soon! He just shakes His head.
There is a purple thing on the floor, which I have to go and stalk now, so I'll TTYL

Happy She

Guess what She found hidden away...A piece of Dove chocolate that She had forgotten all about! Well, you can guess that made Her happy! Every so often, She tries to give up chocolate candy, which is probably why the Dove candy was hidden. She told me She would just eat this one peice, and then no more. I will try to help Her with that, because Kasey and I can't eat any chocolate at all. I will just tell Her it isn't good for Her. THAT should work!
And Eddie only has 11 more marathons to run, and then he is through. She will be so glad when he is back in London, because She doesn't want to worry about him. Can you imagine running 1100 miles in 7 weeks? Even Kasey can't do that, and she runs around here like a little cheetah. It is just for fun, but it makes Them laugh out loud.
Deena's Mom and She are going to a different place tomorrow, to celebrate D'sM's birthday. Then Saturday They will see Smudge's Mom and Dad. No wonder She is being happy today!
When She is happy, I am happy, so I will go give Her a massage now. Addy ose.

Let's Get Busy

That's what She said this morning, and so we did. If you think all the clutter is gone, and all the dust, you would be wrong. It was more paperwork stuff that She did. I guess She is going to talk about Ms. Rita when everyone meets to remember her, and She had to go get the book She needed to get the facts right, then a stop at the store, and- well, She finally got home and had to eat lunch. So much for the clutter!
While She was doing Her things, He went to see his mother at the place where she stays to get her leg fixed. He was very upset when He came home. She feels sorry for Him about that. His mother is not a happy person. But She cheered Him up so he could go to His school feeling better.
One of Her jobs today was to send a surprise to Mazie. After She sent it, She looked at the address again, and it was wrong. She may have said a bad word then, but I didn't quite hear Her. Oh, well, Mazie's Mom will fix it, She hopes.
She watched part of a video with Eddie in it, and that got Her laughing. Now She is anxious for Friday to come, so She can see Deena's Mom and say Happy Birthday.
She is still being busy, so I am going to hide under the table. TTYL

Nice Friends

Today She went to visit some friends. They have two dogs there, and the big one is named Apache. She wanted to visit with Apache's girls while his Mom and Dad came home from a trip. Apache and his little sister were very friendly dogs. They were well trained and well-behaved, but I still don't want to see them! The girls at that house are smart and sweet, She says, and they would like us. The trouble is, cats can make them sick - at least the bigger girl. It would make me very sad to make anyone sick. The smaller sister wants a cat, and we hope she gets one someday. She had such a nice time with the girls that it was hard for Her to leave. Apache's Mom just came back from a trip, and Apache's dad helped Her turn Her car so that it would be easy for Her to get out of the long driveway. What nice people!
She was thinking a lot about Eddie today. She saw a picture where he was limping and sore, and he still has so much more to run! He is running 1100 miles for hungry children, remember? She sent a lot of energy to her Eddie, because She loves him a lot.
She loves me a lot, too, so I am going to get some snuggles. Oh revwar.
