Leaping Cats

This is another special day for the humans. It is called Leap Year Day. Here's what is special about it. This day was added on at the end of a short month. She says it is to make up for some fractions the calendar leaves off. Every so often, people add an extra day to make it all work out right. At least they brought the mail today. She says on this particular calendar day, women are allowed to ask men to marry them. Why to they need a day for that? Sometimes I think I'll never understand humans and their days.
Today She had lunch with her old teacher-friend. That is a special lady who taught kids with thinking troubles, and she was very good at it. Now the lady needs the docs to give her some new bones, because the old ones have worn out. One thing She believes is that her friend will be able to walk just fine after her bones get fixed.
Tonight is a meeting night. The people that used to be Crones are now called the Friends. She doesn't care what they call it, She loves to be with these people. Of course, when She goes to that meeting, She doesn't fix dinner for us. I'm OK with that, as long as it is only one time in a whole month. I'll visit you again tomorrow. Bye bye.

Questions Cats

This is the day They go to Sabra'sHouse and talk about important things with a group of people who like to think as much as They do. Sabra'sMom had the question for today, and it was about god. Humans have a lot of questions about this god business, and today was a chance to think of some answers. You know She thinks that god is inside everyone. What people do about it is up to them. People are responsible for their own happiness, is what She thinks. He thinks so, too, but He thinks it was visitors from other worlds that came here and gave people some skills. Lots of people are not sure about that, but He says it makes as much sense as any other idea. Since people keep not believing in god, what will be next? That was a big question, and we all have to wait and see. This question is much simpler for cats. Kasey believes she is god, and can make us believe it. I believe She is god, because She is the one who fixes the fish and gives me lots of pets. Also, He is god, because He puts out the kibbles every day. He even gives kibbles to Katy-next-door and the other cats that come visiting. There was a lot of shouting today, which She doesn't like. Sabra'sMom likes the excitement. Whatever happens thinking feels very good. We may talk about this again some day. Oh-re-vwar.

Keeping Up Cats

Every day there are things to do, mostly regular things. Some days the things are unusual, such as what She did today. Besides all the regular stuff, She went to the place where they pamper Her toes. She has a big belly, so taking care of Her toes is not easy for Her to do. That is why She goes to a special place. They have nice-smelling warm water that churns around Her feet while She sits in a chair that automatically massages Her back. She says that getting Her toes pampered is like a vacation. There is usually a very sweet girl who massages Her feet and legs, with cream that smells very good. They paint Her toenails with a color that She picks out. She goes to sit in a place where there is a special light to dry the toe paint, and She reads a magazine. When it is all dry, She puts Her shoes back on, and admires Her pretty toes. Of course, when She comes home, we all have to admire them.
The lady sitting next to Her at the toe place had nice, straight toes, while Her toes are all scrunched up and crooked. Here's why. When She was a young girl She wore the shoes that were in style. They had pointy toes and very high heels. She put Her poor toes in those crippling shoes, until Her feet were all twisted up. Now She only wears comfy shoes, because She learned Her lesson., after four operations on Her feet. She tells young girls not to damage their toes, but mostly they don't listen. TTYL

Smart Cats

When we were little kittens, our catmoms taught us quite a few things. Kasey and I have never forgotten these things, which are catskills from a huge long time ago. Now that we live in a nice, cozy home, we don't need to use our searching-for-food skills, or our find-a-place-to-sleep skills. In fact, we just use our fighting skills to play, and our burying-our-poop skills in the litter box. If They ever put us back to live outside, we wouldn't last a week. Cats like Smudge and his sibs lived outside before the got whispered in to a cozy house, and they have worked hard on their trusting skills and their snuggling skills. If we were like people, it would have taken us a long time to learn from our moms.People need to protect their children, and teach them a lot of stuff before they can find forever homes. They have to go to schools to learn things, too. She was so happy to be someone who taught skills to people. She knows that some of the people She taught things to became teachers themselves. That makes Her quite chuffed. He and She know that They do not need to bother teaching us stuff, because Kasey and I are smart cats and know everything about getting everything we need. Food, beds, litterbox, snuggles and treats. Her heart would sing if She knew that people could know all those things and be as relaxed as Kasey and I are around here. Except for loud noises. Cheers, everyone.

Pondering Cats

She sent for something from one of Her catalogs. It is a bunch of disks with a man talking about brains. She is so old, She worries about losing Her thinking, so She sent for this thing named Optimizing Brain Fitness. I am not sure what it means, but the man talks about brains and shows pictures of them, and tells you how to remember things. She is surprised by how much She likes listening to the man. He watched one of the lessons with Her, and He wants to see it next. The man is not a particularly good talker, but he tells things that are interesting. She did a lot of studying about brains when She was learning to teach children with little skips in their thinking. This man reminds Her of a lot of things She used to know. If you know Her, you might know that She thinks very good things about brains. She says that people can focus their brains on a topic, like love and energy, and that focus can make things happen. Hmm. I will have to try that. She says it is what some people have named it praying. She likes focusing better.
She sent a bunch of lessons to LW'sBrother. She hopes he likes them as well as She likes Hers. I am going to focus on cat treats and see what happens. Odd-yue, amis.

Soapbox Cats

When She gets all into something that She believes needs improvement, She says She gets on Her soapbox. Two things get Her attention right away. One is money, and the other is teaching people things. Right now there is a lot of news about people who want to be in charge of our country. He and She think that is silly, because it takes a lot of people to be in charge of a whole country, and one person can't say what he will do without a bunch of people agreeing to go along with him. He and She are especially in favor of the guy who is in charge right now. He is a polite person, and She thinks he agrees with Her about teaching people to act polite and to get along. The people who want the job spend a really big amount of money. That gets on Her nerves. They should not be allowed to go on TV in ads that cost money. He tells Her not to be upset, but to be patient. That makes me laugh, because it is usually She who is patient and He is the one who swears at His computer. (snerk) I think He is right, though, about being patient.
I have been patient, and I was right about having fish for our dinner. She is going to fix a nice dinner tonight. I am happy, too, because She went to the special store where She gets butter, and now we have plenty. This is going to be a nice night. Chow.

Traveling Cats

One of the things She did today was to go to Katy'sBoy's doc. Katy'sMom and She had fun chatting, and She explained how She would be gone for a long time when it is April. They had to go when there were lots of cars, but they got there in time and got finished quickly. They started out for home, but first they had to pick up Katy'sGirl at her Grandma's house. They got to the big road, and that's where everything went wrong. She had to get over from where She got on clear to the other side, and it is the hardest part. Well, there She was, coasting along in exactly the right place, when, at the last minute, She changed where She was driving. She got confused by a sign, and there they were, in the wrong place. Well, She knew how to get where they needed to be, except there was more traffic. Fine. Then She missed the get-off to the right street and they had to go back. It seemed as if they would never get home. Katy'sMom was very patient and did not scold Her, but a trip that should have been over quickly was now making them late for dinner. She said it was a big adventure, and I was so glad when She came home. Two big containers came from the people who send fish, and I couldn't wait to see what we have. It was too late to make fish tonight, but tomorrow - Yum! I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.

Indian Cats

The place where She went for lunch today was all about Indian food. Indian-from-India, She told Him. It is the birthday of Mazie's oldest brother, and he and his nice girlfriend wanted to go there for lunch. Everything in the place was in a different language, and She had what M'sBrother said was good. It had crunchy things on the bottom, like nachos, but Indian bread. On top of that was yogurt and lettuce and some kind of beans She calls chickpeas, and there were interesting spices on it. It tasted OK, but She doesn't mind if She doesn't have it again soon. The young people only eat vegetables. They brought Her a birthday cupcake, and were very much fun to be with. Mazie's oldest brother didn't used to be much of a hugger, but he hugged Her three times. She was very chuffed.
This is the guy who will stay here with us when They go on their boat ride. Both of the young people like cats, and have cats of their own, so they look forward to meeting Kasey and me, and they promised Her they would take very good care of us. That put His and Her minds at rest.
She is really looking forward to Her dinner tonight, because She likes meat. I do, too, so it should be a good evening. toodles.

Cat in Trouble

I know She thinks it was my fault. She had such hurt feelings that She started to cry. He felt terrible. You can believe me or not, but I felt more terrible than either of them. Here is what happened. She was in the doorway, and I told Her I wanted to be picked up. It is fairly common for me to stand up in front of Her, and She knows to take me under the arms and lift me up. Well, I was almost in Her arms when there was a very loud noise. Please understand that loud noises make me terribly scared. He and She don''t really understand. It was from before I came here to live. Before I went to the esspeeceyay, even. Well, when I hear the loud noise, I panicked and in my hurry to escape, I let my back claws slice up Her hand and arm. I even scratched Her chest through Her clothes. It was just awful. I tried to say I was sorry, but She was too upset to listen. Luckily, when She cleaned up all the blood and got into Her chair, She decided to forgive me. After all, it isn't as if I did it to be mean or anything. We are friends again, and I am sorry She has scratches on Her. She is sorry I am still so scared, and She and He are both mad at whoever scared me so very much when I was little that I'm not over it yet. People should treat their animals like friends. That is what They do. Good night.

Filling Out Cats

I really had to help Her today. The people from the boat ride sent Her a lot of pages to read and to fill out things. I don't know what She would have done if I had not been there to keep Her focused, because She might have said She would do it later. We had to gather up information about all kinds of things that tell who they are and how they are going to pay for stuff on the boat, and whether they can eat regular food. He has already told them He can't have very many sweet things, but She said that She guessed that the boat food would have lots of pineapple in it. All that reading and gathering and printing stuff out. Well, it took plenty of snuggles, let me tell you, in order for Her to keep being cheerful.
Something nice happened when that was all done. First, She got a message that She could buy some wonderful fish and other stuff at a really good price. She just lights up when there's a bargain, and I light up when it is fish. Then, a guy brought a beautiful bouquet from Her beloved brother, and all the flowers were made out of fruit. That's Her idea of a perfect gift. It looks very pretty, and then you can eat it. Both of them were chuffed about that.
It looks like another filled-calendar week, so I'll have to do my bit to keep Her cozy. Later, gator.

Sibling Cats

It is a little sad for me to tell you about how Kasey made me look silly. I was here in this room, and Kasey was with Him. I was just sitting there when Kasey came in and put her nose on my nose. Well, that never happens, so I just fell over, and She laughed so hard that I almost had to cry. Oh, She made it up to me by picking me up and telling me I was a brave cat and all of that stuff, but I am still a little salty about it.
Her little brother caused Her some odd moments, as well. He was a little surprised that She didn't thank him for the birthday present, but the fact is, She didn't get one. Her brother ordered something to be sent, and it has not shown up. I guess he will call about it tomorrow, but She is afraid it went to the wrong house. That sometimes happens. It's just part of the brother and sister stuff. He said it was something to eat, and She is betting that it might be that fruit that looks like flowers. She loves that.
Another adventure is that Katy-next-door'sMom had car trouble, and She went to pick her up and bring her home. It was worth it, because She doesn't mind helping, plus She got paid in pizza. You know that is Her favorite. So when my feelings stop hurting about my little sister making me look foolish, I will consider it a fine day. Chow for now.

Arranging Cats

It has dawned on Her that She had better make arrangements for the place They need to stay before and after Their big boat ride. They will go on an airplane so very far away, and They will need a place to stay between the airplane and the boat. Then, when the boat brings them back, they need to stay again, before the airplane ride home. It wears Her out that it costs so much money. Their bargain boat ride is adding up. It is what He wants, so She found a place. Did they give Her a discount? Do you know whom we are talking about, here? Of course She got a discount. Not only that, but it is already paid for. But it does include breakfasts, free rides to the boat and the airplane, so it isn't all bad news. I just don't want to talk about it any more.
She will try to make an appointment with Mazie's biggest brother, to celebrate his birthday. His is just a week after Hers, so they have kind of a bond about it. Both He and She will want to go to a lunch with him, because he is kind of a favorite of Theirs.
To prove what a lucky cat I am, it looks as if She is fixing fish again. Someone told Her fish was good for keeping Her thinking in good shape. No, it wasn't me. But I approve of the message. TTYL

Tickled Cats

I guess you know She likes to have Her birthday last a long time. Well, today Smudge'sMom took Her to one of Her favorite places to have lunch. S'sM had not been there before, but both ladies loved it, and had delicious food. Of course She brought some home, because She likes to have the lunch last for long time. I heard Her tell Him that there was shrimp in there. Yummmm. It was almost as much fun having Smudge'sMom enjoy it as it was for Her to enjoy it for Herself. The man who cooks everything there came out to wish Her a happy birthday and get his picture taken with Her. It was fun for Her about all of it, plus the lovely presents She got from S'sM.
After She left S'sM's house She tried to go to a store to get our butter, but it was so crowded She couldn't find a place to park, so She just came on home. I was so glad to see Her that I gave Her several extra snuggles.
She kind of hopes that She can get in touch with Mazie's oldest brother, who still lives close to where we are. She will take him out for his birthday next week, if he wants to go. That is who will be staying here with us when They go on the boat ride. I don't want to think about that right now, so that is all I will tell you. Have a nice weekend. Cheers.

Next Day Cats

Today we had to hear all about Her birthday. All the good wishes. The fun with Cleo's people, and the nice presents. We listened a lot of times to a card from Cleo'sGirl. She had a really nice birthday, and She isn't done yet. She brought home some nice food from Her dinner, but She is going to give it to Him, because He wondered what it was like. She has been chuffed all day. Tomorrow is a lunch with Smudge'sMom, and when LW'sMom feels well, there will probably be a lunch with her, as well. She knows how to do a birthday.
She spent a lot of time today trying to find a hotel for their big trip. They all cost so much that it just doesn't work for Her. She feels like She has to get it very soon, before the hotels fill up with other people who are going on the same trip. He is anxious to get it settled.
They are glad that Their programs are all fun ones tonight. One is about a very crabby doctor, and They can't figure out why they like it so much - but they do.
Since He is going to eat Her dinner tonight, I suppose She will fix something for Herself that I will like to share. She said I wouldn't like what She brought home because it was very spicy. That's all the news for today. More later.

Birthday Cats

This is a very special day at our house, because it is Her birthday. I am glad I can tell you about it, because yesterday, when it was a different kind of special day, the computer wouldn't work. He tried everything, but it just wouldn't go to my story page. I would have told you about the pretty flowers He brought for Her, and the fancy candy bar, but now I can just talk about all the nice cards and good wishes She has from friends all over the place. She got a ton of good wishes from Her computer friends, and She is not finished with celebrating. Tonight He and She are having a birthday dinner with Cleo'sPeople at a nice place where He and She have gone before, and where they make that soup She loves so much. I think there is even another lunch on the calendar! She has a paper for another favorite place, and She will go with Smudge'sMom. There may be an argument about who pays, but they are good friends, and won't really fight.
Can you believe this? She has bought some Christmas presents already. They might turn into birthday presents, but they are beginning to fill up the present closet even now. She is going to make the most of the sales, because that's how She is.
I hope She brings some of Her dinner home tonight, so I can share it with Her tomorrow. It's kibbles for Kasey an me tonight. For now, so long.

Package Cats

Today the mail guy brought Her a package. It was from Her beloved OperaGirl, and She was chuffed, even before She opened it to see what it was. Inside the package were socks that were black and yellow and had a bee face. Oh, how She laughed! She just loved those socks! Well, Kasey and I both noticed that the socks smelled like cats, and so did the package. I was amazed to see Kasey go so close to Her, because she never does that. Kasey sniffled those socks until She thought the colors were going to come off. And Kasey would not let me near them. When she realized how close she was to Her, she backed off and sniffled the package, so I could sniffle the socks. I think it was because Her OperaGirl let our cousins Nick and Lion close to the socks and the package. Funny way to have a visit, but it was fun.
Even though it was rainy today, She went out on some errands. She mailed a package to one of Her Eddie People, and got some things at the store. When She finally got done and came home, the rain stopped. She thought that was funny.
Good news! We are having fish for our supper tonight. It has been way too long since we had fish, but the gravy from Their dinner last night suited me just fine. Sy-o-nara.

At Home Cats

Since She went someplace every day last week, and had a lovely time wherever She went, She decided She wanted to stay home today. They had planned to go cash in one of Her paper tickets for a nice lunch or brunch. When She got up, She felt like staying home with us. He was perfectly fine with taking one of the tickets and getting some nice treat to take home. They both enjoyed the take home lunch, and She didn't have to get dressed up. Plus, She has divided up the take home food and will have a few lunches with that. What a treat.
Since She is quite old, She ordered a thing about brain fitness. Between Her exercises for her bones and fitness for Her brain, She might last a lot longer. She likes the brain stuff so far. She has always had some good ideas about the brain from Her studies, but now She can concentrate on Her own brain. They find out new info all the time.
It was a quiet Sunday at home today, so She is ready to go on errands tomorrow, and be ready for Her birthday later on. She is one old lady that really loves Her birthday. This year, maybe even Kasey will give Her a snuggle. I'll let you know. Toodle Pip.

Patient Cats

This morning He and She both went out to different places. He went to a meeting about one of His projects, and She went on a nice ride to Katy'sGirl's doctor. The first thing that needed patience was that the garage door didn't work. Once She got Her car out, the door would not close. It is supposed to be automatic. He was gone and She had to keep the appointment. Katy'sMom knew how to make the door close, so off they went. They were on time to the appointment, but still had to wait almost an hour. They were patient. When they were ready to come home, there were long lines of cars, because people were fixing the roads. She had to zig and zag all over crowded streets, but She finally got home, and was ready to eat lunch. I am glad She and Katy's people are patient.
Once She had Her lunch, She looked at Her mail. A big package came today, and there was a nice box with shelves and a drawer. It will go on the place where the phone is, and make that corner look nicer. Little by little, They are getting this old place in order.
She is so glad He is through with His recovery from yesterday's doctor thing. He feels fine, and can eat regular food foor His dinner. He has waited patiently. We are glad. Chow, bellas.

Cats say WHA???

It was still the middle of the night when He and She got up and got all dressed. What is going on here, I asked Kasey. Kasey didn't know and she was all mixed up, too. They went out in the rain and were gone for a long, long time. When it was the time She usually gets up, They were back home. Then everything was same as usual. She had Her medicine, we had our butter, and He went back to bed. It turns out that it was the day He got His insides examined, and I had forgotten about it. She said everything seemed to be all right He felt fine, and the whole thing was over. Kasey and I told them we felt better now.
I guess She was in the mood to punish Herself, after being successful at getting up so early, because She got out all the papers for doing something called tax. She did the tax on the computer, and after a long time playing with all the papers, She said, there. It's all done, and we will get some money. That puts Her in a better frame of mind.
Tonight He still has to eat soft kinds of food, so He will have mostly noodles. That means no fish, but I'll manage just fine. It is good to have him feeling healthy and getting money from tax. I am a happy cat. Toodles

Old Times Cats

It was the second time She met with Her old-time friend, and they went to one of Her Crone places. She likes the coffee there, and the nice, fresh rolls. This time She had one with great big nuts on the top. She loves stuff like that. I don't care for it, so I don't care that She didn't bring any home. Her friend has something wrong with her bones where her legs begin, and pretty soon she will get new bones put in there. She told Him that it makes Her bones ache just to think about it. These two ladies have been friends for a lot of years, but haven't visited with each other for a long time. It is Her opinion that there are some basic things that keep you being friends, even when you don't have a lot in common any more.
She is excited for what is on TV tonight, because there are two of Her British shows. Then She wants to go to sleep, because She has to get up very early to get him to his doc for a test of His insides. She is dreading it, but only because She has to get up while it is still dark. Now that She is retired, She likes to sleep later in the morning. She can't remember the last time She got up while it was still dark. Also, I am not excited about our dinner, because He has to drink soup and eat jello. She will not fix anything interesting for Herself, I know. Well, maybe tomorrow. TTYL.

Friend Cats

For a lot of years, She has loved meeting with Her dear Crones. By now, several have moved away, some have died, and some have lives too busy to meet with fellow Crones. The last time they met, She was sorry to see only a few people were there. Oh, She was happy to see the people that DID come, but one of the Crones suggested a change. Let's change the name to Friends and open up membership to people of all ages. She has always had Pre-Crones, who were almost old enough to be Crones, and Cronelets, who were young and interesting. Now, let's call them all Friends, and not have an age limit. In fact, let's invite guys, if there is something fun for them. She is glad they will keep on having the same schedule. She really looks forward to seeing these Friends.
There was a birthday card in the mail for Her from Mazie and her family. Mazie had made a picture of roses and butterflies. There was also a card She can use like money. She was really chuffed to get that.
She is really looking forward to watching one of Her new movies. All the ladies at lunch were talking about it. She will be thinking of Han'sGran when She watches that movie, because that's who gave it to Her. Don't know what's for dinner, except I know there will be cake. I'll go check. Osta la veesta.

Celebrating Cats

You know I don't much care to have Her go away from our house, but She was so happy getting ready, and SO happy when She came home, that I couldn't feel sorry that She went away. It was a special birthday celebration with Hana'sGran, and H'sG always makes Her smile. Her birthday is not for a while, but She and Hana'sGran decided to celebrate it on Her beloved Eddie's birthday. They went to that favorite place where they make the wonderful cakes and pies. They give you so much food that She can bring home half of it, and have it for Her dinner. She got cake for dessert and brought some of that home as well. Then Hana'sGran got Her a piece of beautiful pink cake for Her to share with Him. Hana'sGran also gave Her two movies She wanted to see, so now She says that She is spoiled - and it's H'sG's fault. But that was just a joke She told Him, since she is not spoiled like meat you leave out, She is just used to having everything wonderful for Her.
Since His lawn mower is broken, He had a guy come and cut the grass, and it looks very nice. He says they did a good job, so maybe he will cut the grass when They go on the boat ride, so they don't send us a letter. He hates to get a letter telling Him our house doesn't look nice.
I'm looking forward to seeing what She brought home to have for dinner. I'll be glad to try it out. Chow for now.

Exer-Cats

You know how She has all these aches and pains? Well, He challenged Her to set the timer and walk for 5 minutes to start and eventually build up to more minutes. Since our house goes in a circle around the kitchen, She does this inside. The first day She thought She wouldn't make it. Today was day 3, and even if She got out of breath, She said it was easier. Of course, I helped Her by jumping out at Her when She passed me. It is easier to exercise when you are distracted by an attack cat - as well you know.
While She was doing that, He was on the phone with people about fixing the fax machine. It hasn't worked for a long time and He thought it was no good anymore, but a long talk with the fax machine people and a lot of plugging and unplugging connections, and it worked. She is really glad, because if He didn't fix it, He wanted to buy a new one. Whew. And Kasey helped Him while He crawled around on the floor.
Good news about the boat. She called somebody and they said everything was all done right and everything was ready to go. If there had been a problem with that, She would have been so worried I would have been scared! She is going to fix some chicken tonight, because He can eat that. She is happy waiting for tomorrow, when She and Hana'sGran go adventuring. TTFN.

Super Cats

Today there is a kind of game to see who is the best at playing football. People are very excited about this game, and He and She don't care about it. That way, He can go to the store while everyone is watching this game, and it won't be crowded. Another good thing, He say, is that Their favorite programs will be on time and not have to wait until the ball game finishes.
Eating is peculiar around here, because He has a special bunch of food to get ready for the day they take pictures of His insides. She has had that kind of test and She feels sorry for Him. She is also worried that His sugar levels need to stay right. If they don't, He acts peculiar.
They are taking the trip on a boat pretty soon, and She called to check with the boat company. They didn't know anything about it. This gives Her a chill, so She will go back to the original people and get it straightened out right away. He has paid for everything already, so someone will have to tell Her some good news or there will be trouble. She is glad She checked now, instead of waiting until the trip was close.
It has gotten cold again, and my piece of sunshine has not come in the window yet. I'll keep watch. It may not be too late. Wish me luck. And Her, too. buh-bye.

Up-and-At-'em Cats

You know how She has trouble standing up and sitting down? She says it is Her old bones that make it hard to do that. Well, She bought a chair cushion that helps Her sit down and get up. He set it for how much She weighs (She covered Her eyes!) and then She went around the house sitting down and getting up. The cushion has a handle, so She can take it to Sabra'sHouse when They go there, and to Smudge'sHouse. She could even take it to restaurants, but She feels kind of strange about that. Maybe when She is more used to it. He asked Her which is worse, carrying a special cushion, or looking like an old lady and groaning when you stand up. She will work on that question. She has a lot of restaurants in Her future, so She can decide. Personally, as long as the snuggles keep coming, I don't care.
All the papers They need for doing the tax are here, and She will start on that tomorrow. She does it on the computer, because there are no weird things in the records. The next thing She will do, after the Tax, is change Her bank. I wonder what people do when they are not as particular about money as She is.
Do you know it is Eddie's birthday next week? She and Hana'sGran are going to celebrate two birthdays - Hers and Eddie's. I wish I could go. Cheers, everyone.

Kitty Cats

There is a show She likes to watch. It is about this really brainy guy who doesn't have any social skills. That means he has aspergers syndrome, She says. All I know about him is that he is very selfish and not a good friend, but he is funny. Anyway, when this smart guy feels sick, he wants someone to sing him a song about kitties. She just loves that song, and She sings it to us, especially when Kasey is sleeping in a round ball position, or when I'm purring very loud. So there I am, a big, muscular cat, being a sweet kitty. Is Kasey a sweet kitty? Don't make me laugh.
There was a lot of talk with Her computer friends today. A lot was about cancer. That is a very bad disease that took away a few of Her very good friends. For years She has given money to this group that helps people with cancer get checked and helped if they haven't got much money. They said they weren't going to help anymore and it made Her and Her friends very upset and sad. Everyone talked about it so much, the group changed their minds, and will still help the poor people. It made Her quite chuffed to hear that. It turned out to be a good day after all.
To make it a perfect day for this kitty, She is fixing that pink fish for our dinner. She knows I love that. So Oddy-ose for now.

Frustrated Cats

When something goes wrong with His computer, He gets really mad, and calls the computer-fixing guy about a hundred times. Because He is busy studying things for His projects, He has to use Her computer. He gets on it and stays for a long time, and shuts off when He is done. I tried to tell Her I had important stories to write, but She said, Cofs, He would be unhappy if we told Him to get off the computer. We don't want Him to be unhappy, do we? But now I am back, and will fill you in.
There is a friend who used to teach with Her a long time ago. That lady taught children with thinking problems, then she moved away. When the lady moved back, they didn't see each other very much, but then they decided to have lunch together. The lady was very sad, because her brother died, and she needed Her to help her feel better. Of course, She tried, but there are some things that can't be fixed in a couple of hours. One thing She told me is that the lady has two tiny d-o-g-s, so we will talk later about having some new cousins.
It was so sad at the lunch that She brought home almost all Her food, so She will have it for dinner. She says I will like it, but it's not fish. I'll tell you about it tomorrow. Bye, now.
