The flowers She got for Her birthday are gone. She did love those flowers. I thought She was going to keep them forever. She kept telling us they are still fine, but now they are dry, and their petals are falling off - and even if She rearranges them a hundred more times, those flowers are gone. We tried to help by eating all the green parts, but even though we gacked them up, She didn't take them away. I am telling you, She loved those flowers. Some people get flowers when they die. Not Her. She says, don't waste money on flowers I won't be there to enjoy. Give the money to the Esspeeceeay, She says. She saw that we looked worried, and said, no, Coffster, I feel fine. I'm just telling you now so that you don't have to wonder.
She got some news today about one of Her beloved Crones. That is Tori-Tzu's mom. She has a thing in her tummy that shouldn't be there, and the doctor will have to take it out. That Crone friend has fine sons to help her while she is sick. It was time to wish love and energy for her, She said. I'm glad we are good at wishing!
This is spaghetti night, so it is time to take a look at Her plate while She and He are watching their movie. It is a mystery. She loves mysteries as much as flowers! Chow.

Wishing Cats
Today She told us that She had lots of things to wish for, and told us we needed to help. You see, She believes that our brains don't use all the energy in them, so people and cats need to focus on what they wish for. I know She believes it is the world that uses this power, and it doesn't work to ask some mystery person to make your wishes work. You have to use brain energy, even if you didn't know it was there before! And She told us we had to send love while we were wishing. Here's what She needs, in case you want to wish as well. First, we wish that all our people who have pain and sickness will feel better very soon. Her Crone friend, Ella, for one. And LW's family, who have all been feeling pew. And UUTracy and OperaGirl, who had sore throats. Be sure and wish they take care of their pipes, She said. ( I think She means their throats.) Let's wish that Mable'sMom gets over her painful muscles, and that Her OdessaGirl gets over her sore bones. We also have to start early to wish that the people who listen to ViolinGirl recognize how brilliant she is, and that all Her girls who will be in NYC have as much fun as they can hold. We have been wishing Mazie is happy in her new school, and that HE get people to see how good his story is. Don't worry, Coffs, She says. When that wishing is done, we have other wishes. All this wishing makes a cat knackered. And thirsty. Wishes will be coming your way soon. Sy-o-nara.

Cats Keep Watch
Since it was a kind of nice day today, I spent a lot of time looking outside. You know He puts out kibbles for our friends, so today we were all surprised when every last bit of kibble disappeared in just a little while. When She went out to get the mail, there was Katy's husband, crying for some more food. He is looking a little more fit and nice. I think it is all the kibbles he gets over here. Kasey and I watched out the front door while K'sH cried for more to eat. Of course, She gave him some more. She believes everything anycat tells Her -especially if they are crying. The cat didn't try to come in our house. I think he know Kasey would give him a look so mean that it would make his hair fall out.
It has been a while since She was in such a fit over the clutter. No sooner does it clear out than things start collecting again. She said She thinks it has gotten worse because They have been inside out of the cold. When They are out and about, things stay a bit nicer.
She was happy about Her meeting with the Crones last night, and She even wrote a long letter to Her friend who lives nearly in Canada. That is a place farther away than Mazie or Her OperaGirl. She loves that friend. She says she is kind and smart and clever. She likes that in a person! And a cat.
Well, I will go look out the window some more, before it gets really dark I hope They don't give away any more of our kibbles. I know it is nice to share, so I had better not say that! TTYL

Cozy Cats
It was a nice surprise to find out that the terrible ice and snow didn't come to our house last night. She was worried that Her beloved Crones wouldn't be able to come to the meeting tonight. The way the TV guy was talking, She thought it would be too nasty to even go out to get the paper! Well, He went out and fed the birds and put out kibbles for our cousins that live outside, and he said there was not even frost on the grass. She told me it snowed close to here, maybe as close as where LW lives, but we escaped it. So now She could do Her errands, and He could get His computer fixed so He didn't have to say bad words to it, and the Crones will be together tonight.
She is kind of lonesome for news about Her beloved Eddie. No one can tell Her where Eddie is going next, or what he plans to do with his clever self. She knows he needed a long rest after all his shows, so She guesses it is OK to have him out of the news - for awhile. Just to cheer Her up, Her OperaGirl had a guy make copies of some Eddie-things for Her to play here at our house. We will sit and watch every single move Eddie makes! She is right chuffed! She is SO glad Her OperaGirl will be getting a surprise of her own!
Even though there is no snow, Kasey and I spent a lot of time curled up on the couch, being cozy. But now I will go snooze under my MeTable and keep warm. Cheery-Bye.

Role Model Cats
Today was Thinking People Day, and They just love that! Even if some of the thinking people were missing, They really got interested in the talk. It was about role models. A role model is someone you try to be like. He liked lots of groups, and She liked lots of people. Kasey and I think we are role models for Katy-next-door and her husband. We also tried to show the good way to be to our cousin Smudge, when He was here. Maybe you iknow that She used to be a teacher, and that She thought She had to role-model nice language and manners for Her students. She believes all the Thinking People are role models for Her, as well as Her beloved Eddie, who is very kind and generous. The Moms of all our cousins are role models for Her, too. Smudge'sMom is smart and clever, and she has lots of health problems, but she keeps going. Katy'sMom and Mable'sMom are very good to their children, which She thinks is quite good. Her OperaGirl and some of those friends role-model a life of talent and service. She told me that they have a joy of living (Only She said it in French, which I didn't get) that lightens things for everyone. LW'sMom role-models good Momming, even while she follows her dreams. Role models help you decide what you are going to do. He and She are kind of role-models for Kasey and me, although we are role-models for them, too. We show them how to relax, how to snuggle, and how to stalk things. This is what I shall do right now, as a matter of fact. Cheerio.

Me Table?
There are a lot of tables here where I live. The table where They eat is where my silver cup of water is every day. There is a table where Her coffee-the-drink goes and - well - there are five or six tables that I can see from Her chair. In the middle of all the chairs there is a table that is kind of big, and lower to the floor than the others Do you inow what She and He named this table? It is a COFFEE table! I heard them call it that when He said where is the magazine, and She said on the COFFEE table. That is the perfect place for me to nap. I can see a lot from under there, and it is hard to see me, so it is a good hiding spot. I can stalk toes from there, and roll a toy mouse under there, too. I love having my own table.
I was under there, in fact, when She came home from Her errands. Today is the birthday of Mazie's biggest brother. He still lives here instead of far away where Mazie lives. She took his birthday present to him, and got a nice hug. Then she went to buy some cat treats for you-know-who. My sister Kasey has Him and Her wound around her paw. Whenever she wants a treat, They give her one. Well, OK, but you don't hear them naming anything a Kasey table, now, do you. I am going back under the Me Table to rest awhile before the next session of snuggles. Ah-dyoo.

Better Day Cats
Today was a much better day than yesterday. To begin with, She read some nice messages from Her Eddie-People, and was very cheerful about them. After that, She went on an adventure to a new place to get things to eat. It was close to LW's house, not too far and not too close. They had about a hundred things to pick from, but they got nice choices. She said it tasted good, but She still brought some home. It was because they gave Her such a lot of good food. Another thing She liked is that the coffee-the-drink was good, and they gave Her a whole bunch to pour for Herself. She agrees that it will be a place They can go back to. How can you be even a little sad when so many people cheer you up? She loves all her cheer-up friends!
We are also glad because the paper had more coupons for us to cut out. I am glad to help Her with this by pushing the papers close to Her. Sometimes I sit on them so they don't slide away.
You will never guess who was playing mouse with Her today! It was Kasey! She and I were both surprised. She put her hand under the blanket. like She does for me, and Kasey pounced on it. Kasey liked doing that, and was very close to laughing. After a few pounces, though, Kasey returned to her old uppity self, and walked away. That will make us laugh for a long time. Must go and see what He is cutting up in the kitchen. Could it be something I could eat? More later. Ciaio - And happy birthday Musc Guy!

Ho Hum Cats
(Yawn) It has been a kind of routine day, with not many new adventures going on. The biggest story is only about the peanut butter. He just learned that He isn't allowed to eat peanut butter on his vegetable menu, so She went to make a PB sandwich for Her lunch. Where is the peanut butter, She says, and He says He threw it out. She was none too pleased. There is more to this story. She likes crunchy and He likes smooth, so He didn't think She would want it. Yes, but who throws out perfectly good peanut butter? The answer is He does. But He went and got Her some crunchy, and the crisis was cancelled. Can you imagine a day when the biggest deal is about peanut butter? Neither can I. If I didn't have Kasey to chase and kibbles to snack on, I would think this was a very tiresome day.
It isn't even interesting to think about supper. Every Saturday is spaghetti, so no surprise there. And no more birthday parties, either. Well, I guess a tiresome day is OK every once in awhile. I bet my cousin Lion, who lives far away with Her OperaGirl doesn't have a tiresome day. I bet LW doesn't have a tiresome day. I bet Her Music Guy doesn't have a tiresome day. Well, better luck tomorrow, guys. Addy-ose.

Coupon Cats
Just as I predicted, She stayed home today and chatted with Her computer friends. It was nice to have Her here, and I thanked Her with quite a few snuggles. But the job we had today was about coupons. When She goes to the store, She likes to take coupons, because they save money, and She is very particular about money. She gets coupons in the papers, and in the mail. Today we had to look at all the coupons and decide which ones we will use when She goes shopping next week. She didn't have time this week, because of all the birthday parties. So She looks at all the coupons and cuts out the ones for things She or He like to buy. One said a dollar off on cat food. You can guess how I felt about that one. I urged Her to cut it out, and She did. She told Him that She had so many coupons that the store would have to pay HER to leave. You know that's a joke.
It is a long time since She has seen news about Her beloved Eddie, but She heard he was back in the U.S. of A. She is pretty sure he will be in a movie, or on TV. She would be surprised if he did more shows like the one She just saw. She thinks he must be knackered from all that traveling around. She heard some good news about His and Her friends that live VERY far away. Maybe the farthest. They are Her Africa friends, and they will be here next month! She is right chuffed about that.
I hear pans rattling. I must go see what is for supper. I hope it is something I can taste from her dish.. Toodles for now..

Happy Day Cats
This is another day when She didn't eat Her lunch at home. We were anxious for Her to have lunch with Deena's Mom, because we love Deena's Mom, and we have been worried about our dog-cousin, Deena. Deena is beautiful and smart, but she has been having some problems. Last time we heard, Deena was feeling crap. Well, today Deena had a good report, so we are happy cats, just to hear that.
But She was excited for another reason. She was having another birthday party, and She was excited because D'sM felt better, too. She says it is easier to feel sick yourself than for your loved ones to be sick. So everyone felt well enough to go and eat French food. I don't know what French food is, but it must have been wonderful, because She didn't bring any home. She told Him She had a perfect dessert, too, so it was mostly a happy day.
One thing that wasn't happy, though, is that LW's next sister has a really sore throat, and She wants her to feel better fast, too, like Deena. We all sent love to help that happen.
So a happy day comes to an end, and maybe we have finished all the birthday parties. I'll let you know. I have to go and see what She is doing about our supper, after all that French food. Poodle Tip (get it? snerk)

Her Friends
This morning She was really singing and can't waiting. She was having lunch with Smudge's Mom, And S'sM's girl. This girl is not Smudge's girl, because she lives in her own house with cats of her own. But she is a lovely girl, and She loves her. There was supposed to be another person, but at the last minute, this nice friend had an emergency and could not go to the lunch. I know She was sad about that, but She was still happy with the other people. She thought that She was going to have fish, but She picked something else. She brought some home, and that will be Her dinner tonight. I think it smells like chicken, so I will check it out.
There are some people who can't have meat during this time of year because of what they believe. That's not like Him. He doesn't eat meat because He feels better without it. She believes in eating meat, because She likes it. She checked with Her OperaGirl, and found out they both like to eat meat, so if they ever get to see each other again, they will have hamburgers.
Another friend that She loves has a birthday today, and She said She would have something good to eat to celebrate. That friend lives far away, the other way from Mazie. And then, one of Her favorite friends, who is Deena'sMom will see Her tomorrow. She has good luck with friends, She says, and with cats, too.
I have to go sniffle that chicken now, bye.

Early Cats
One thing She likes to do is to sleep as long as She wants, and to Have a nice bagel and coffee-the-drink before she gets ready for Her adventures. Well today was different! She got up early and got cleaned up and dressed so She could take Katy's Boy and Girl to their schools. Katy's Mom had a problem, because her car would not stop right, and She was glad to help out, so everyone could be where they needed to be. Don't worry, though. When everyone was in their proper schools, She had Her bagel, and I got my butter. It was an easy day after that. She wasn't tired at all, and got things done just right. It also made Her feel glad that She doesn't have to go in Her car when everyone else is out there! I heard Her tell Him that there was a nasty crash at the corner where the big street is, and there were police and crunched up cars there.
Now that the day of Her birthday is past, you would think She would be ready to stay home and wait until next year - or until our birthdays. Not Her. She is getting more birthday parties. She says She is getting spoiled. That means people do too much for Her, not that She is too old, like milk. I am relieved to hear that, because sometimes She says Kasey and I are spoiled! Just so you know, we are NOT. Going to look out the window now, so Toodle Pip.

Special She
Early this morning, I gave Her Her first set of snuggles. When She was finally awake, Kasey and I entertained Her by attacking each other and running around madly. I waited patiently for my butter, because She had to get a birthday card from Him. She was laughing when She finally had Her bagel and my butter. When She checked Her messages, She was smiling and laughing and crying, because so many people sent Her such nice messages. She had to play OperaGirls message a bunch of times. This one didn't have a cat. It was just a watch-again kind of message. And Smudge's Mom sang HappyBirthday to Her, which tickled Her pink! She also had a lot of computer hugs, so She felt very special. When it was time for lunch, He took Her to a nice place to eat. It was not fancy, like yesterday's place, but it was healthful, and She did a neat trick. She got a sandwich that was way too big for one lunch, and she brought a lot of it home. So She will have birthday lunch for a couple of days!
Later, I gave Her some afternoon snuggles, and She had some of Her chocolate from Mable'sMom. She already got a whole bag of nice presents from Cleo's Mom, and a special phone call from her. She said She was totally happy with everything today, so I am glad it was a sunny day for Her.
She may want to share some of Her birthday sandwich with me now, so I will say goodnight.

Birthentine's Cats
Did you know this day has a special name, besides Sunday? Well, it is called Valentines Day, and it is about love. It tickled Her pink today when She got a card from Her OperaGirl, and it was a talking cat! I did NOT know there was another one, but She said you'd be surprised, Coffster. Anyway, She played that message from that cat so many times, it was starting to make me worry. She told me She did not love that cat more than me, but loved it in a different way. I'll have to think about that. She stopped playimg it, though, when Mable'sMom came to get Her to go to a nice place where they have special things to eat. When She came home, She could NOT stop talking about that place. She thinks they would fix vegetables for Him if they went there, and She said She would ask.
She always thinks this day is a beginning for Her birthday. Last year She had that big party. You remember that. Well, some people are mixed up, because this is the day before Her birthday. But She calims both of the days as Hers. I am not sure how She is allowed to do that, but She says don't worry your furry little head about it, Coffee. OK, I'm good with it.
One thing She told Him was that they brought Mable'sMom a fancy coffee-the-drink when they brought Hers. M'sM dooes not like C-the-D, so She had to drink both of them. (snerk)
There is left-over stuff with cream on it, so I'll sign off now. O-reevwar.

Flower Cats
Well, yesterday He brought some lovely flowers for Her, and She arranged them and put them on the table. Next thing you knw, there was Kasey, eating the leaves and knocking petals off (which I had to stalk!) Then what happened TODAY? More flowers, this time from Her brother, Abby's Dad, who lives by the ocean. You know She loves flowers, and doesn't have good luck growing them, so now our house is filled with flowers. Yes, Kasey went and sniffled those flowers, too. The little mischeif even took a couple of bites. I was tired of stalking, so I chased Kasey away from the new flowers. Then a strange thing happened. I took a couple of bites of the green stuff that they put around flowers. I promise I didn't mean to. I don't know what came over me. Could there be catnip in with those flowers? Well, I ate a bunch of the green stuff, while Kasey laughed at me. You'll be happy to know that it didn't spoil the way the flowers look, so She was OK with it.
Tonight is spaghetti night, and tomorrow is brunch with Mable's Mom, who has to work on Her birthday, so it is an early birthday present. Monday He will take Her out, and later, Deena's Mom will have lunch with Her. I told you Her birthday lasts all week!
You know, I think all those green things are giving me a tummy-ache! I had better go and get a drink of water. I don't want to gack! So Be Our Valentines, and I'll TTYL

Celebrating Cats
It turns out that I have been writing my stories for about a year, now, and that means it is that celebrating week we always have this time of year. It starts about now, and goes on for nearly a week. That means it is time for Her birthday. In case you didn't know, She is very big on birthdays. Lots of people are happy just to have cake, but since Her birthday is next to a big holiday, She just celebrates all over the place. She already has three lunches on Her list, and has gotten presents from Cleo's family. When He went out today, He came home with lots of bagels, and a bunch of flowers. I hope you know that He really loves Her. As much as He loves Kasey and me, even. In case you think She should just have one day for Her birthday, good luck convincing Her of that. Since Kasey and I can't go to the store, She knows She will get home-made presents from us. Don't tell Her, but She is getting extra snuggles and massages from me, and Kasey just might let Her pet her. I asked Her why She still likes a fuss, even though She is very old. She told me, that's when you should celebrate, because you made it another year!
I have been stalking things all day. Some leaves came off the flowers, and Kasey chewed some petals, so I have stalked them until I am knackered. I'm going to have a quick nap before dinner, but since She is having shrimp, I expect to be wide awake later. Ciaio.

Snicker Cats
What a day this has been. It has been cold and rainy all day, and She has been kind of restless. But I have made myself available to give Her snuggles and a couple of massages, so now She feels better. The only thing is, He has gone off to play a card game, and from there He will go to a meeting, so She is on Her own. This would be a good time to finish off that chili from LW's Mom. I tasted it, and that is what I am going to urge Her to fix.
But anyway, here is the joke I said I would tell: She read it out loud to me from a book, and we just laughed and laughed. Here's how it goes:
A gnome is in the garden, busily destroying some bushes when a cat appears. "What are you?" asked the cat. "A gnome," comes the reply. "I steal food from humans. I kill their plants. I make annoying music at night to drive them crazy, and I love mischief. And what, may I ask, are you?"
The cat replies, " Ummmm. I'm a gnome." Get it? (snerk) She told this to Her OperaGirl, and she said it was cute. She has such clever friends.
I am worn out from cheering Her up all day. If you want me, I'll be in the closet. Nitey nite.

Nitey nite.

A Day in the Life
Here is what I do every day. I eat some kibbles and have a big drink of water. If She is not up, I give Her a nice little massage, which usually gets Her attention. When She gets up, I have to stalk Her toes. I pounce on them and then run away. I do this several times until Kasey comes to see what I am doing, then I stalk Kasey. When She has Her bagel and coffee-the-drink, I sit patiently by her side and wait for my butter. After 3-6 fingers of butter, I get on the window sill and watch the birds. He feeds them every day, and sometimes they come right up to the window. Sometimes Katy-next-door or her husband come to the window and I make a mean face until they go away. By this time, Im knackered, so I go somewhere quiet for a nap. I have to give Her some snuggles later, then some more nap - then more snuggles, then more nap. Well, that is a typical day for me. Kasey usually just sleeps, or goes and helps Him with His studies. She always comes in here to get treats a couple of times a day. As you can see, we are very busy cats, with large responsibilities.
Today She went to have lunch with Her beloved Crones, so She came home smiling and happy. Oh, I forgot to tell you: I also have to write my stories every day. Busy, busy, busy. Tomorrow, I will tell you a joke. BuhBye.

Cat-Tricks!
You will never guess where I spent most of my day! This morning, I went in to where She was computering, and I gave Her so much attention that She couldn't write HER story, so She pretended that I was in Her way, and She moved me over to an empty place on Her desk. I just knew She didn't want me to leave, really so I climbed into Kasey's inbox! He and She both laughed at how cute I was in that tiny basket with my enormous self! I just KNEW it would tickle Her pink! Actually, I curled up very tight, and fell asleep, and when I woke up, She had finished Her computering. I had been in there for a long time. I had to stretch and yawn before I started this story today!
It has gotten cold again where we live, but not as cold as where Mazie lives. Mazie's Mom sent pictures of Mazie and her dog in huge piles of snow. Mazie's dog as an alps dog, and just loves the snow. I miss him, but We are all glad he doesn't live here where it is too hot sometimes. Lots of Her Eddie-people live where it is snowy, and tell Her about it. OperaGirl has a sore throat, it is so cold where she is. That makes Her so sad, because OperaGirl sings like an angel. A very big, beautiful angel!
He has gone to a writing meeting, so She will have some more of LW'sMoms chili. She enjoys things likke that when He isn't here to wish He had some. He loves LW'sMom's food.
I have to go see what She is doing now, and let Kasey have her in box back. ToodlePip

More News Cats
After all the busy news yesterday, I thought I would rest today. It didn't turn out that way. To start with, Katy-next-door and her husband came for breakfast, and He put out their kibbles. Hubby started to eat right away, then Katy came and looked at his pile of food, and Hubby walked away! Katy is very bossy. When She walked down the walk, Hubby went back to finish his kibbles. He ate like he was really hungry, but he only ate one of the piles of food. He sure is bossed around by his wife!
Also, Smudge's Mom had her operation today. After checking carefully, I have learned that S'sM is OK, and is already home. Smudge is so happy about that. When he thinks she won't be there, he is quite glum. That makes Frankie glum. Trixie doesn't care, just like Kasey. Well, it cheered Her up, I can tell you that!
It is a good thing that SuperBowl game is over. ViolinGirl lives where the winners live, and she says there is a lot of celebrating going on. I saw some pictures, and it looks like a bad place for cats! Too many feet in the street. A cat's tail would be in big danger there.
The only other news is kind of ordinary. She got a lot of catalogs today, so the shopping is about to start back up. Oh, and Mazie says she will be Her Valentine! I believe that is something good. talk to you tomorrow.

Newsy Cats
Here is some of the news that happened today. For lunch She went to a nice place with Mable's Mom, and She had a drink called chocolate malt, besides the usual coffee-the-drink. She always loves to see M'sM, but She kind of hoped Smudge's Mom and Dad would come, too. S'sM is having an operation on her tummy tomorrow, and She wanted to give her lots of love and energy before she went. S's People did not wake up in time to come to the nice place, and She said She was glad S'sM got her rest. Well today was Her beloved Eddie's birthday, so She felt like celebrating.
Then He went to the place where His mother lives, and had to pay them for her extra care. The place is very careful, so He is glad. Tomorrow some new people are caring for His mother, and they won't charge extra money. She says whew. It is easy to run out of money! His mother sure is lasting a long time.
Also, where Mazie lives, there is so much snow that Mazie can't go to school. The snow is almost as high as she is. One thing She doesn't miss is the snow. What She does miss is Mazie. Mazie's Dad is going far away for a meeting about his work. It is Oz, She says. Funny name for a country, I think.
Well, that is all the news I remember for today. Happy Birthday, Eddie. I will have a snack in your honor. Toodles.

Cat-emplation
We are thinking today. It is a nice day, and we should be very happy, but we made the mistake of stopping to think, and it made us kind of - oh, thinky. Why do people act the way they do? I asked Her, and She said, hey, Coffs, that makes me thinky, too. Do you know that there are people who don't have enough to eat? Lots of people help them, but a lot don't because they don't speak English as well as Kasey and me. One time She had a kind of big bunch of money. She calls it Her rich widow days. I don't know why. When you don't have to ask how much something costs, you are rich, She said. That is when She moved to where we live now. It was too cold where She came from. That's when She met Him, and They gave lots of money away. She had enough money to teach in a school for children who had trouble with their learning because of glitches. It cost their moms and dads extra money. She found out that these moms and dads would pay a huge bunch of money if their children didn't have glitches. They had money, but they weren't rich, the way WE are. But when Their money was gone, She went back to the public school, where it doesn't cost extra. She missed the glitch-kids, but their school didn't pay teachers enough. Why can't people share, She says. Why is letting everyone be healthy be a bad thing? That's what you get on a thinky-day.

News About Cousin Cats
This is where She went today. She went to LW's house to play with LW and see the cats that they have. They have 2 little cats that are sibs of Smudge, and, according to Her, they are quite cute. When She first got to LW's house, one of the cats was on a soft blanket on the dining room table. It made Her laugh, because it is just what we would do if there was a soft blanket, but LW's Mom is a little fussier about things than She is. She was tickled pink with LW, who sang some songs for Her, and was so cute She wanted to bring her home. That's what She told Him, and He said LW's Mom would not let that happen.
She stopped at a big store on the way home, to get Him the kind of pudding that Eye had told Her about. He was very happy to have that. It is made out of things He is allowed to eat, instead of milk, which He can't have. I am with Him on that, because the milk I drank yesterday made me gack! Anyway, She said He was chuffed. That is a good thing to be.
She was just sorry that LW's sibs weren't at home. They go to school all day. LW'sMom says they will have to have a play-date! I may hide in the closet if they come here. But now I will catch up on some snuggles. Ciaio

Friends and Cats
Here is what made her sing today. Even though the paper she wants did not come in the mail, She got a very nice surprise. You know She has friends all over the place? Well, today a card and note came from one of Her farthest-away friends! This is one of he grandchildren from the Eddie People. This girl wrote to Her in English, but the regular letters she uses don't look like ours. I can't read the strange letters. She says She could once, but doesn't remember them all. She can remember lots of things, but says you have to use it or lose it when it comes to words from other places. She still practices sign language, too, but Her computer friends can't see that. One of Her best friends is Him, and He thought the card was sweet and funny. She will be singing for quite awhile. She used to sound nice when She sang, but now it is more of a croak. Leave the beautiful singing to OperaGirl, she says.
You will have to forgive me, but I do not feel very well. You see, When She ate a bowl of cereal, She left it for a couple of minutes,. and I drank some of the milk. It didn't agree with me, or maybe I just feel bad for doing it, but it made me gack. I will go have a nap and be glad He cleaned it up and They didn't scold me. bye.

Demo-Cats
The President was on the TV today, and he was talking to the DemoCats, which is what He and She are. They say he is a speaker that is easy to listen to, and They can't figure out why so many people don't like him. The President thinks just what I do, She says, so of course I think He's smart. It seems as if the President knows that a lot of what people say is nonsense, and has nothing to do with the American people. After awhile,he got done talking, and He and She were just glad that they heard his talk. She has sent money to the DemoCats, and The President has sent Her thank you notes. She treasures them, She says.
The tax paper did not come today, and I found out that NCIS is not real, so they won't get the paper for Her. I should have known it isn't real, since it is on TV every week, but a cat can wish, you know.
She is fixing a nice dinner for both of Them tonight. She is making rice and beans, and putting a whole bunch of vegetables in it for Him to enjoy. When it is all cooked, She will dish Hers out and put some meat in it. I will look very hungry, and She will give me a little taste.
I will go curl up by Kasey, and rest until dinner time - or until Kasey chases me away. She tends to be rude. Until tomorrow.

NCIS Cats
One favorite thing She likes about Tuesdays is that the NCIS shows come on. She likes the people on those shows. Everyone knows She has a cousin that looks like the main guy, and there is a kind of goofy and smart girl on there that tickles her. When they came up with another kind of NCIS show, She told Him She didn't think She would like it, but She does. You have to give things a try before you decide, Coffs, She told me. She believes I don't like treats because I have never tried them Treats are Kasey's thing, not mine.
She was kind of mad that the tax paper She needs didn't come today, and She decided that since He is a Marine from a long time ago, She should ask NCIS to find that paper. Wouldn't that be a good trick? Her cousin that looks like the main guy was in the navy, too. You have to be a Marine or a Navy before NCIS will help you. This might be interesting. I'll let you know.
Here's something that makes her happy. Two Eddie friends of hers got together and now they are a pair. They both live WAYYY far away, but She likes to hear news like that.
I will get ready to watch NCIS with Her, while He goes to a meeting. She will maybe share Her soup with me. Later, gator.

Tax Cats
The big thing going on today is that She wants to figure out Her taxes. We got out all the papers again, and found out there is still one missing. She had to be on the phone for a very long time trying to find out where that last paper is. It is not fun for us to hear Her grumble, so Kasey and I tried to cheer Her up. We chased each other all over the place to make Her laugh, and when She sat down to eat Her lunch, I got up on her tummy and gave it a massage. That did make Her chuckle, and so I put my paws on her face to say cheer up. It must have worked, because the next thing I knew, She was talking to a human on the phone. She told him to send her the paper, and He told Her to call back if it isn't here by Friday. I know that is what he said, because She put the phone on speaker and we could all hear. He is glad to let Her take care of the taxes, because He is not so fussy about money. She keeps all the papers - when they finally come. She wants to hurry because She thinks They will get some money back. If they don't, She will wait a long time to send the papers. Who knows, She says. We might win the lotto by then. I have never seen Her get a lotto, so that is just a joke, I am almost sure. She is having fish for Her supper tonight. I am already excited about that. Oh ree vwar.
