Perhaps it is because I am kind of an old cat, but it seems I am not very ambitious . Neither is Kasey. But Kate is ambitious. She plays with all the toys, without any help from Him or Her. Kate likes catnip, and it makes her kind of a crazy cat when she gets a good whiff of it. When I was a younger cat, I thought I would like to chase birds and bugs, and play with the neighbor cats, but I didn't have claws, and so I was kind of limited. When Kasey and I were teenagers in cat years, He and She took us home, but They had to promise the Esspeeceeay that they wouldn't let us go out. Kasey has run outside a couple of times, but was plenty glad to get back in. Our ambitions changed to finding comfy spots to lie in the sun, or on Her lap or His computer table. If you remember, Kate lived outside about half the time before she came here to live. He and She don't let Kate out, either. One time Kate escaped and was gone for almost a week, but she came back in and has not been interested in going out since.
Do you know who else is ambitious? He is. He loves His projects, and is happy to work on them just as if He had an outside job. Do you know who is not ambitious? She is not ambitious. She used to go out and find nice places to eat, and shop and go on trips. She liked to go and see Her beloved Eddie. Now, She never goes out, except to a few places with friends and family. She wants to visit with everyone on the computer. She thinks She would like to write a book. He keeps after Her to do that. Do you know what I think? I think She is not going to write a book at all. I think She will just visit with Her computer people, play with Her cats and work Her puzzles. If She does ever write a book, I will surely help Her. Must run along now. Shrimp for dinner. Yippee.
