Kate Cat

Since I have gone back to playing in the living room, I have learned a lot about our new sister, Kate. I thought she was gray, but it turns out Kate is blue, with silver tips. Not nearly as pretty as I am, but she looks OK. When Kate used to live next door, she would come over here sometimes, and she was very sleek. Right now, Kat looks like a butterball. I don't know what that is, but that is what He calls her. Kate loves to have her round little tummy skritched, and gets up on Her lap. It is common for Kate to be a head-butter, so you could probably say she was a butter head, too, (snerk). After a few moments of attention, Kate jumps down and goes on to some other activity. We don't have a problem with Her lap unless Kate wants to get up there when I am already there. Oh, sure, I give her the fish-eye stare when she jumps up on Her, but I don't hiss or yow.  I will tell you this, but don't tell Her or Kasey. I think Kate would like to be friends, but doesn't know how. One day I will write a story about Kate and me. We will be playing together happily, and She will be beaming with joy.Kate likes to get in the computer room, and gets on the windowsill. If she hears Him anywhere near the food dishes, Kate is off like a shot. When He is in the kitchen, Kate likes to follow him and beg for a handout. He likes to act gruff, but He always gives her something.
Speaking of kitchens, She is making some of that pink fish today, along with some green vegetables. I knew She would listen to me and make something good for dinner tonight. Have a nice evening.
