Harmony Cats

Do you know what harmony is? It is when  two or three sounds go together nicely and sound fine, instead of making you put your paw over your ears. I think three cats can live together and not sound like hissing and yowing.   It is not something that happens all at once. Whether it is about people or cats, you have to know how to get together and not yow. He and She, for example, get along for a huge bunch of time. They do yow every so often, but they don't hiss and scratch. She has a quieter voice than He has, but don't be fooled. If She wants to yow, She knows how.  I was having a nice snuggle on her chest today, and up jumps Kate, wanting some pets. We were very close, but we just looked at each other, and Kate jumped down. There was no fight, and later,Kate got some treats and a few pets from Her. I believe that sometimes fights are from habits. If you have been fighting for years, like Kasey and I, we will get along OK, and then feel like hissing for no real reason. She says people are like that, too. If we are all in the same place, and each of us wants attention right away - you guessed it. Yowing. But if we back away and wait our turns, things get better. The worst fights people have is when two of them want the same thing right away. When they get very upset, it is hard to reason with them. She explained to Kate. Sometimes you have to just back away and say we are never going to agree on who gets to eat first. Lets just  take turns. If I were in charge of this place, that is how we would do it.
By the way, did you know there was pink meat? Not because it isn't cooked. It is cooked and it is supposed to look that way. It is what is for dinner tonight, and I will try some and let you know how it is. Toodle Pip.
