It was hard to figure out what was going on this morning, when Her alarm clock rang while it was still dark outside. I was sure it was a mistake, and then I remembered She had to take Him to the doc. She should have made a cup of coffee in Her new machine, but She knew it would make Him feel bad, because He couldn't have any. Waking up in the dark, no coffee. Kate and I were kind of worried that She would fall asleep and never get there. But no, we found out we were wrong when He and She came home a long time later. She got them there, He went off with a nurse, and She got some coffee. That changed everything, She told me. Pretty soon He was done, and He didn't remember a thing about the examination. He was smiling and Happy, so She was smiling and happy, too. The doc came and showed Them pictures of His insides, and said everything was just fine. She showed me the pictures, and you never could tell it was Him. By this time, He had not had anything to eat for such a long time that He was very, very hungry. She had some tomato pieces with Her and some nuts, so the doc said it was OK to eat them. I don't think He ever enjoyed tomato pieces and nuts so much in His life. That wasn't all. She wanted to go home, but He had His heart set on some food from a particular place, so They went there. After a little bit of the food, He decided to save it for dinner, so They got boxes to take the food home, and it is on the menu for tonight. It doesn't look like anything I would like, but I'll be fair and check it out before I turn it down.
It is an excellent day, the way it all turned out, so All of us are happy cats and people, but a little bit sleepy. Tomorrow She won't wake up until it is light outside, and everything will be regular. Toodle Pip.
