Satisfied Cats

Yesterday was puzzling and hectic, so today has to be pleasant. I was correct about Her sleeping until it was light. She probably would have slept longer if He hadn't had some trouble with His computer and started yelling at the fixing people who were on the phone. Let me tell you what She did about that. There is a bunch of pictures of a cat on the computer. His markings make him look very grumpy, so they call him Grumpy Cat. She copied a picture of Grumpy Cat and put it out where He could see it. She told Him that every time He got all grumpy, She would hold up that picture. He thought it was a funny idea - but when He is feeling grumpy, I'm guessing He won't laugh. There are two things that make Him grumpy. One is trying to solve a computer problem and getting nowhere, and the other is having His food out of balance. She told me that He has to eat at certain times or else He gets grumpy. I told Her I understood, but I am not sure that I do.
Once He was nice and calmed down, the rest of the day was very pleasant.  We had raisin toast for breakfast, and a nice coffee from the new machine. The name of the coffee was Vermont Country roast, and She said it was very good. She knew it would be, because She has a friend that lives in Vermont. That is Buddy'sMom, and she is one of Her Eddie Grands.  Buddy'sMom works in one place and lives in another. It is the Vermont place that is Her favorite, and She loved feeling like She shared that coffee with B'sM.
The thing that came in from the freezer today was chicken. I will enjoy that, along with some vegetables with butter. The butter melts and drips on the plate. I help Her by licking it off. Chicken has some nice juice, too, if She cooks it right. That would be perfect on a pleasant day like this.
So Poodle Tip, everyone. (Get it?)
