You would not believe what I saw when I looked out the window today. After looking at gray skies and wet grass, today I saw sunshine, and it cheered everyone up. I'm glad She is a little more cheerful today, because yesterday She was sad. I really don't like it when She is sad. Neither does He. Yesterday, He brought Her some ice cream because He wanted Her to smile. She just loves ice cream. Today He cannot eat anything that is solid food. He has a bunch of bowls of stuff He calls jello, and that is the best He can eat. He is really looking forward to getting that examination over and going to get something good to eat. Meanwhile, She is wondering how in the world She is going to get up in time to take Him to the examining place by the very early morning. Today He has to drink a bunch of medicine, too, that will make His insides clean so the doc can see what is in there. If there is something that isn't supposed to be, they will take it away. He will be sound asleep all the while, and won't feel anything. That is really good news, because if there is one thing He doesn't like, it is to be uncomfortable, which is what He would be if He was awake. You know this means there won't be any nice dinner tonight. Just jello for Him, and something easy for Her, because She doesn't want to eat something good and make Him feel bad. Maybe She should try some kibbles.
Anyway, She will not have to drive to that far-away doc in the rain. The weather guy says it will be dry, but it might rain the next day. On that day, I bet She will be sound asleep while it rains. I will let you know how He feels when His examination is over. I hope you are wishing Him luck.
