Chatty Cats
Kasey and I like to talk to each other, and also to Him and Her. I am much better at it than Kasey, but she knows how to tell Him when she wants pets and snuggles, just like I tell Her. Kasey has taught Him to do certain tricks, for example she gets up and stretches, and He knows to pet her two times on the back. He has learned that when Kasey jumps up on the counter He is supposed to give her at least three treats. If He just puts down two, Kasey looks at Him in a pitiful way, and He knows to put down more. If she wants pets, Kasey knows to get on his papers or his keyboard. They are very cute when They do Their tricks for us, and we reward Them by purring and bumping our heads into Them At last He has learned to make sure we have food when we jump on Her and get in the way of Her work or reading, and She says Do the cats have food? He fills our dishes right away. She talks to me every day, and I let Her know how I feel. She calls me The Purr Factory, and laughs. Kasey does not purr as loudly as I do. I am not sure He hears Kasey purr, but our Auntie Heather can get Kasey to purr and get snuggles. One thing She has never done is get snuggles from Kasey. One day She tried to tickle Kasey's belly, like She does mine, and Kasey gave Her an icy stare and walked away. I laughed when I saw that, and I still have to laugh when I think about it. Since last evening was more of a snack evening, I suggested the She should fix fish tonight, and that is just what She got out of the freezer. I am a convincing talker. I will go and lie in my sun spot, and look forward to an excellent evening. Chow, bellas.
