When Kate lived here with us, she would scratch the furniture. He and She tried everything. They got her a scratching post, which Kate looked at and yawned. They got her scratchy toys, which she played with until she felt like scratching the furniture. Finally, She got Kate a thing called a Scratch Lounge. It is like a bed, but it has that scratching paper in it. Kate kind of liked that, and would nap in it quite a bit. She didn't know if Kate would come back after she ran away, so She left it in front of the fireplace. Just when She thought it was not likely that Kate would return, She went to put it in the garage, and She found Kasey sound asleep in it. If Kasey liked it, I had to check it out, and it turned out to be very comfortable. It just fit me, so I would go and nap in it a bit each day. This is what happened yesterday. I got into the Scratch Lounge and went to sleep right after lunch. I slept all day, and almost until They had finished Their dinner.. By that time, She had turned off Her computer, so I didn't even get a chance to write my story. I hope you were not too disappointed. Just think of the wonderful rest I got in that Scratch Lounge. I would not be surprised if your kitties would like one, too.
What I wanted to tell you about yesterday was the pink flowers in the back yard. They cover half the yard with beautiful blossoms until half the grass looks pink. I am sorry the mowers will have to cut them down. I love to look at them. I would have told you in more detail, but now I can just give you a short report on them.
Since I slept through Their dinner last night, All I got to eat was my bowl of kibbles. I will be more alert today, you can be sure. Until tomorrow, ta ta.
