Political Cats

I thought when all that voting was over the political stuff would be over, too. It turns out that I was mistaken about that. Kasey and I are coming to the conclusion that the humans like to fuss about the people in charge of the country. I am sure you remember what side He and She are on. They like the guy who was elected to be President, and They believe everyone should share and help each other. It is what They try to do. I am not so sure the other side is so much in favor of the sharing thing. One problem I have noticed is that everyone listens to too much arguing on the TV and the radio. There is one group of reports that say that nothing Their guy can do that is right. He and She joke about that. They think that if this President says cats are excellent pets, the other side would want to make cats illegal. They fuss and argue so very much that nothing ever gets done. One thing that She worries about is children and schools. You can guess that She is sad about using schools to try to save money.  If only She could walk better, and stand longer, She would go with Cleo'sPeople and complain about it. He and She are lucky because They are old. When they get old, Humans can get help to pay for their docs and their medicine. Where Her beloved Eddie comes from, people can see docs without having to pay at all if they don't want to. When this President suggested trying that, it was a wild thing to work on. Let's just say that I am glad cats don't have to think about that. We get our kibbles free, and all we have to do is to take care of Him and Her. If we get sick, They take us to the vet and we don't even have to do more work. AND, we get extra snuggles. If anybody asks you, Kasey and I are perfectly happy being cats. Chow, bellas.
