Visiting Cats

It is easy for us to do visiting, because it happens right here at our house. Our Aunt Heather and Uncle John came to see us from their home very far away. I thought She was going to melt, She was so happy. Aunt Heather can do something She can't do, and that is to pet Kasey. When Aunt H pets Kasey, she purrs and snuggles. When She pets Kasey, she gives Her a tired look and walks away. Kasey will allow Her to pet her two times, only on the back, and then Kasey expects treats. I wonder why she doesn't like Her, or maybe she is just being snarky. I am different. I like pets from Aunt H and Uncle J, but especially from Her. When they came to visit, He showed them His project, which is nearly finished, and they both wanted to buy one when it is done. They talked about books and TV and all kinds of interesting things. I listened as long as I could, but then I had to go get a snack. They had to stop the visit so that He and She could get ready to go and visit someone else. They are going to have dinner with Rocky'sMom to celebrate R'sM's birthday. We are big fans of birthdays around here. This was a very busy day, with Him working hard on his project, then having the visit and then going on the visit. It is a good thing to have a busy day, because they can celebrate that they caught the guy who was exploding things, very, very far away. They can't celebrate the trouble a little bit closer, because there is no one to catch. It was an accident. But that's enough about that. No sense getting bummed on such a nice visiting day.
