Close Call Cats

I believe you know that if She falls down, She can't get up by Herself, That is why an almost-fall last night was a close call. Somehow, She had gotten to the very edge of the chair in Her sleep.  She woke up when She felt Herself slipping down toward the floor. I had jumped down to help Her, but She needed more help than I could give Her. She called for Him to come and help her, but They didn't know exactly how to go about it. Well, He helped Her skootch back in the chair, inch by inch, and when She finally got Her bottom on the chair, He helped Her stand up. Then He fixed the pillow, which had slipped down and caused the problem, and He helped Her sit back down and get comfy again. That may sound like a not-very-big close call, but if you knew how many little things She has to think about when She stands, sits and walks, you would understand. That made me think of all the people who have harder problems. What if you couldn't hear? Think of what you would miss. I have heard of cats that can't hear, and there is a lot of danger for them. Just notice, next time you go out, how many things you hear. I have known cats that couldn't see. They have to depend on other senses to get their kibbles, as well as their hugs and pets. She has shown me pictures of cats and dogs with missing legs, or legs that don't work, and I can't imagine how I would manage to jump and run and climb up on Her.  So when I think about Her trouble walking and stuff, I think She should be glad She has two legs to stand on, and two eyes to see with and two ears to hear with, and not whine about Her walking standing and sitting troubles. But still, I am really glad She didn't fall all the way down to the floor this time.
Was that pink fish She took out of the freezer? Oh, I am a happy cat. Chow, bellas.
