The kind of rash I'm talking about is the kind that gives people red, bumpy skin that itches. Cats get them sometimes, but Kasey and I don't have them right now. It is She who has a red, bumpy rash around Her neck and on Her back. The big mystery is where did the rash come from. If you know Her, you know that She is allergic to iodine. That is a kind of medicine, I think. If She gets iodine in Her system, She turns into a giant rash. Here is a clue. Iodine can get into your system by eating certain fish. The kind that almost always gives Her a rash is shrimp. Last night for our dinner, She fixed shrimp cakes. He doesn't think that is what made the rash, but She says what else did I have with iodine? I reminded Her of every thing she ate yesterday, and nothing had iodine - except maybe the shrimp cakes. She started taking a new vitamin, but that didn't have iodine in it. He got tired of wondering and put some cream on Her back, which felt good. This would be a fine time to find out She is allergic to cats!
It is a nice day today. Too nice to think any more about rashes. It has been so cold for the last couple of nights, but today it is sunny and warm. No. Cofs, She says. We don't want it sunny and warm. We want it rainy and warm. If we don't get more rain, there might be fires. It might mean the grass won't grow to feed the cows and stuff. All these things could happen if it doesn't rain, and we are worrying about a little rash. That is silly.
I don't know what She is fixing for dinner tonight. I just know it won't contain shrimp. I'm hoping it is pizza. I think I'll go and tell her that. Bye, now.
