Sad Cats

Kasey and I are very sad for Her. She feels as if She is in a time warp, She says. That means She thinks all these things have happened before. Here's what happened. His project is almost ready to go on sale. To do that, He needs some more money - and you know how She is about that. So She thinks back to other projects He has had. He doesn't want to talk about that. Of course not. So They argue, and that is very hard for Kasey and me. Right now, He is very upset, and that worries Kasey. Kasey has to go and snuggle him. And She is very upset, so I had to go and snuggle Her. It is very true that a cat's work is never done.  I am even more convinced that cats could teach people a lot. We are very cute and helpful and we get rewarded with kibbles, some butter and some treats, That way, we don't need any money. All money is good for is to cause trouble, from everything I have been able to find out. Of course, Kasey and I don't get ideas for projects. We are just like that. We have enough to do. If She gets an idea for a project, she just tells people about it and moves on. She thinks they have enough money, enough food and enough things in the gift-closet for all their needs. I wonder why He thinks He needs more money. All money does is make people sad and angry. It is so much better being a cat.
Well, the thing that cheers me up is that there was enough of that good food that He brought home yesterday that they can have it for dinner again tonight. I love that stuff with the shrimp in it. Here is what She is like. She ordered it the way it was least expensive, and then She got a discount. There is something that makes Her happy, right there. And now it lasted for two dinners. After all these years together, He hasn't learned that trick from Her. She doesn't mind, though. After awhile it will be OK, and They will be fine. Just like all the other times. Good night.
